chapter nine | big time date

Waking up to an email from Kelly informing the blonde that she excused from work that day was the highlight to Rosalie's afternoon. However, that quickly changed into an instant panic as her work phone beeped only moments later from a text from Dak to Juliette.

Dak:

Juliette, I'm in town for a few more days
for promo and have a day off today. If

you're free, I was hoping we could have

that dinner date today?

Rosalie stared at the message for a moment before quickly scrambling to sit up in her bed, a smile etched on her face. The blonde typed in a response.

Juliette:

That would be amazing :)

Dak:

Great!

I will pick you up from Rocque Records at 5:30.

Juliette:

See you then!

The blonde stared at her phone for a moment before her eyes widened, "What the hell am I gonna wear?"

After a large moment of panic, the blonde finally called Katie and Kelly who arrived moments after the girl had finished taking a quick shower. As she entered her bedroom with a towel wrapped around her figure, the two were in her closet sorting through her separate pieces in order to find something for the girl to wear for the date. Rosalie took a seat on the edge of her bed and watched as the two journeyed through her closet.

"How many clothes do you have?" Katie asked, glancing back at the girl who only laughed in response. Kelly gasped, grabbing the younger girl's attention away from the closet to the dress she held in her hands. The two shared a smile before they turned around to show the piece of clothing to Rosalie.

It was beautiful white dress that Rosalie had been waiting for a chance to wear. The dress was long-sleeved with a v-neckline. There were a few buttons at the top that stopped near the stomach and then a wrap that tied around the waist. The skirt of the dress was flared and overall was one of Rosalie's favorite articles of clothing she owned. The blonde grinned as she reached for it and made her way to the bathroom to change into it. After successfully tying the wrap, she exited out and was immediately met with a pair of white heels that were shoved towards her.

Sitting down on the chair at her vanity, Rosalie quickly put on the heels before turning to face the mirror and staring at her reflection.

"Katie, head to the back of the closet and grab the purple wig that is styled to be straightened and has the bangs." Kelly told the youngest Knight who nodded before disappearing into Rosalie's large closet. While she did that, Kelly made her way to Rosalie and stood behind her with a soft smile. "Are you sure about this?"

"What? A date with the Dak Zevon?" Rosalie laughed.

"I meant a date in general. You know with your life, keeping a relationship isn't going to be the easiest thing in the world."

The blonde sighed and nodded in agreement. One of the cons of the life she lived was the challenges that came with being two different people. Relationships were hard. Especially when the person who she wanted to be in a relationship with didn't know her secret. Dates were hard to make and she couldn't be truly herself.
