"Holy shit!" Trey shouted and rushed to Calvin's side.
Cassandra did not waste a single second and also ran along with Trey.
"Call 911." Trey said to Cassandra.
"Okay, okay." Cassandra said whilst taking quick shallow breaths as fear shook her being.
While Cassandra spoke to the lady behind the emergency line, Trey took immediate action.
"Get them all out of here!" Trey shouted at his crew.
He then grabbed Calvin and placed him on his side so that his airway could be clear, and removed all the objects that were anywhere near Calvin and stayed with him throughout the length of Cassandra's call.
"They said that they'll be here in five minutes, what do we do?" Cassandra asked.
"There's nothing else we can do besides wait and make sure that everyone leaves." Trey calmly said. "Go and wait outside for the ambulance so that they'll know how to get here and I'll look after him." Trey ordered.
"Alright, alright." Cassandra trembled.

She then ran to the outside of the mansion's front entrance and waited for the ambulance in absolute fear, shock and worry. Wondering if Calvin was going to die, how long the ambulance was going to take and whether they would make it on time.
Her eyes were completely blinded by tears as she gave in to all the emotions that she felt in a moment that she had never experienced. She gave in and fell onto the stairs, that led to the mansion's front door and placed her hands on her face. At that moment the images of Harlow came into her mind, the same person that got her back into Detective McCarthy's office today. And like Harlow she began to accuse someone of something serious without having any proof, this being that Harlow spiked Calvin.
But why would she?
Unlike Harlow, Cassandra still had a cool and somewhat unbiased head that made her wonder why she could possibly do something like that.
All these small events that seemed to take place in a large amount of time, took place in only five minutes as the ambulance and the paramedics arrived.
Cassandra led them to where Calvin laid next to Trey, who was keeping an eye on the Asian boy's unconscious actions.
The paramedics placed Calvin onto a stretcher and proceeded to take him into the ambulance.
"Please let me go with him!" Cassandra pleaded.
"Are you a family member?" One of the paramedics asked.
"No, but I'm a close friend." Cassandra answered.
"Then you are not allowed into the ambulance." The paramedic then shut the ambulance's back door and they drove off.
"They're taking him to Braveheart right?" Trey asked.
"Yes, I think so." Cassandra replied whilst she sniffled.
Trey quickly went back into his house and walked back outside, "I'll take you there." He said as he open the garage.

Cassandra never imagined herself voluntarily being in Trey's car, especially alone with him. And if she did try to, she would imagine it as a loud car ride with music banging through the speakers and his even louder friends chilling at the back. But no, it was completely quiet, a pin drop could be heard within the car.
She came to realize that she was still avoiding Trey even after all the help and attention he gave to Calvin, and his pure willingness to drive her to the hospital.
When she finally decided to thank him she looked to her side and saw that Trey was tightly gripping onto the steering wheel, his once light chocolate brown muscles turning white and his light brown eyes glimmering with tears.
She was already in complete shock and did not think that anything else could shake her, but seeing Trey be emotionally vulnerable did.
She did not know what to do, what to say, how to comfort him. She barely knew him besides how he put himself forward, his unpleasant actions and horrible reputation.
Cassandra would always comfort someone when they were in tears. She wanted to do the same this time but just didn't know how to comfort someone she did not like.
When they reached a red light, Cassandra looked at Trey and asked, "Are you sure that you'll be able to drive to Braveheart, I can help?"
"You're more of a wreck then I am right now." He quietly replied.
She knew he was right, but that seemed to be the one way that she could show him that she somewhat cares.

When they arrived at Braveheart the two rushed to the hospital's main desk and asked for information revolving around Calvin. As expected they did not give off much.
The two then sat down at the waiting room in silence. Not an awkward silence but one of emotional exhaustion and despair.
"I should call his sister." Cassandra said, releasing her voice into the cold heavy air.
"Yeah you do that." Trey responded as he placed both of his hands onto his face and silently began to break down.
Once again, Cassandra was in shock but she continued with her role and informed Calvin's sister of the fact that Calvin was currently in Braveheart's emergency room.
"I just talked to her sister and she said that her and their parents will be here soon." Cassandra said softly, wondering if Trey heard what she said through his silent cries.
Cassandra then placed a hand on Trey's back and looked at him, place her other hand on one of his own and pulled it away from his face. And came across the sight of his tears flowing down his chiseled jaw.
"I know what that feels like." Trey sobbed while he softly hyperventilated.
"I know what it's like to wake up after being unconscious and being told that you were poisoned, had your stomach pumped, have to stay in the hospital even longer to heal and have your family worry about you because you made some fucked up decisions." Trey cried.
"But I also know that he did not deserve it, nor does his family." Trey finished.
"Hey...you made it, he'll make it too." Cassandra caressed Trey's leg.
"What about if I was lucky?" Trey asked.
"Let's try and not think like that." Cassandra answered.
Trey sighed and slumped back onto the chair.
"Let's wait until his family arrives and until the doctors say something." Cassandra stated, attempting to be the voice of reason and calm Trey down in the process.

Calvin's family arrived at the hospital and were made to wait in the waiting room, while they had no idea about why Calvin ended up in the ER. Cassandra then explained somethings to the Zhaos but avoided various details. Trey remained quiet, knowing that the Zhaos were well aware of who he was. Also remaining composed as to not show any more people his vulnerability.

One of the doctors walked towards the Zhaos, Cassandra and Trey. "I believe that you are the friends and relatives of Mr. Calvin Zhao." The doctor stated, and they all confirmed so. "Mr. Zhao is currently in a very critical state, we may not give off too much information currently. But the poison that the man in took was rather lethal. Even after pumping his stomach, his body is still reacting to it. Meaning that he must be admitted for a while. We currently do not know how long the healing process will take, therefore I am unable to give you a definite number of days." The doctor informed.
"But we do not have the money to pay for such an expensive private hospital." Calvin's father said.
"It's okay, I'll pay for it." Trey said.
Cassandra whipped her head at him in disbelief of the selfish boy's charity.
"Why?" Calvin's sister asked.
"Because. If Calvin dies, it will be my fault." Trey stated.
