Harlow
"So you are telling me that Calvin and Cassandra killed Daniel?" Francis asked.
"Yes." Harlow answered.
"Because you found our that Cassandra had Daniel's phone in her gym bag?" The detective asked.
"Yes! And Calvin knew about it!" Harlow emphasized.
"And you are aware that that is not enough evidence to convict a person and even worse, two people of murder?" He asked.
"Detective McCarthy, to me it is enough. At least to have them as the primary suspects. They had my brother's phone after his death!" Harlow frustratingly said.
"A phone that has no sort of clue or evidence that points to Calvin and Cassandra."
Harlow halted from the chair behind Detective McCarthy's desk.
"Believe in what you will! But they did it! If I have to find the proof myself then I will!" Harlow shouted, getting ready to leave the detective's office.
"Harlow, you'll just further ruin the investigation." McCarthy calmly said as he stretched on his chair and relaxedly placed his arms back.
"You've already started ruining it." Harlow left and harshly shut the door.
"Spoiled brat." Francis muttered.

Cassandra
Cassandra followed Ming's direct orders and made it early to Windsor's drop off zone. And instead of being greeted by Ming, she was greeted by Calvin.
"Cas. You okay?" Calvin said as he rushed to Cassandra and gave her a strong bear hug.
"I'm fine, yeah. I'm weirdly fine. It seems like I have become numb to this whole situation." Cassandra honestly stated.
"That's good to know, because Ming told me to meet her here and I just knew it had something to do with what happened yesterday." Calvin said.
"I should've known." Cassandra angrily moaned.
"No. She seemed worried. Let's just try and stay as hopeful as possible." Calvin held Cassandra's hands and gave them a strong yet gentle squeeze.
Cassandra would usually squeeze them back, but this time she let go of them.
"Hey...what's wrong?" Calvin looked down at Cassandra.
"I just think that we have been too close lately and I'm afraid that we may be confusing our friendship for something else." Cassandra straightforwardly stated, an unusual action done by the rather timid girl.
"We've always been like this before we even thought about feelings and all of that stuff." Calvin stated. Not because he did not think of his actions as somewhat romantic or touchy, but because he feared that Cassandra would distance himself from her.
"I know but, I don't want people thinking that there's something between us." Cassandra said as she finally looked up at Calvin.
"By 'people' you mean Kai?" Calvin asked.
"Well, yes." Cassandra said.
Calvin replied with a sigh. "Fine if that's what you want then fine." Calvin responded, moving back from Cassandra and leaving a larger distance between them than usual.
"I'm sorry." Cassandra said.
"No you're not." Calvin replied.
"Calvin..." Cassandra whispered.
"It's okay, I get it. You like him and all and maybe you guys have a thing so you don't want him to see me as your boyfriend. I get it." Calvin said, trying to pretend that he was not hurt. "Just don't tell me that you're sorry when you're not." He added.
Cassandra looked at him with a slight sadness in her eyes. Even though she did not have feelings for Calvin, she has always had a lot of love for him so to see him hurt did hurt her too.
"Guys, I could finally get a handle of you. Mrs. Michaels was asking me if I wanted to join this math competition and blah blah blah." Ming spoke out of breath from all the fast walking she had to do to get to drop of zone in time.
"I'll need to talk to you guys in second break." Ming said.
"Why not now?" Cassandra asked.
"Coz school is about to start, duh." Ming answered.
"It's okay Ming. I'm sure me and Cassandra can patiently wait. And I can tell that this is important so we need not to rush it." Calvin agreed with Ming's decision.
"Okay then. Second break it is?" Ming asked.
Cassandra nodded, and they all silently agreed.Art class with Aluia was always a great distraction and way to start the morning. Even with everything that was going on she still seemed to be focused about all the hype that was roaming around Windsor High. But like a lot that was happening in Windsor, this time was different.
"So did you hear that Trey is throwing a party?" Aluia asked.
"You know the answer." Cassandra stated with a smirk.
"Okay, you don't know. I've been thinking about going." Aluia said.
"How can you even go partying with all that has been happening? And you know that Trey's parties are bad news. He's literally throwing a party after getting spiked in his last one, it makes no sense." Cassandra stated.
"I want to go exactly because of all that has been happening. I need a freaking brake." Aluia replied.
"By getting drunk and dancing with boys that you dont know and doing whatever else that I don't want to know." Cassandra voiced her lack of amusement.
"Yes..." Aluia shrugged, causing Cassandra to shake her head.
"Lu, you also need to consider that you'll be associating yourself with the boy that bullied Daniel." Cassandra said.
"Cas I'll just be going to his party. I'm not even planning on talking to him." Aluia stated.
"You're stubborn as fuck so I'm not gonna waste anymore of my breath." Cassandra replied.
"Everything will be okay, trust me." Aluia gave her a quick side hug, making sure that the teacher did not catch them.
"Okay..." Cassandra responded with a deep breath.
Calvin
"Don't worry, I know that bank reconciliations are difficult but we'll work through it at your pace until you get a hang of things. And you don't have to worry about paying me right now, I myself know what it's like to barely have much in your pocket." Calvin lightly laughed.
"Are you sure? You've been helping me so much and I know that you're not a rich kid like everyone else." The Windsor High student said.
"Yeah I'm not and that's why unlike other Windsor High students, I work and get paid enough for now. And helping is something that I love to do it's not all about the money." Calvin stated.
"Thanks Calvin you're a" The student was interrupted.
"Mr. Zhao. Come with me." Detective McCarthy said as he motioned at Calvin to follow his lead.
Calvin already knew what this was and like the others he was going to lie, not to protect himself but to protect Cassandra.
