Four days after the second trial of Super Danganronpa Two.

My head was pounding and my body ached. I opened my eyes amd saw that I was in a small room. I was lying on a single bed, next to a window. I peered out and saw that I was on the second island. I glanced around the room and noticed something.

"My eye... Wha- why can't I see out of it?" I reached my hand up to touch my right eye, but there was an eye patch on it. "Oh no..." I tried to get out of the bed to find Peko, but someone opened the door and walked.

"H-hello, M-Mr. Kuzuryuu. Ho-how are you f-feeling?" She asked. She kept her distance away from me and fiddled with her hands nervously.

"I'm fine, Tsumuki." She took a step closer.

"Ar-are you hungry? C-cold? Warm?" She asked.

"No. I'm fine." I confirmed. "I have a few questions for you."

"Of-of course." She bowed her head slightly and sat in one of the chairs that was located in the center of the room.

"Where am I?" I started off with. I had other questions that I wasn't sure I was ready for the answer of yet.

"Th-the ho-hospital on the se-second island." She said.

"What are my injuries? Are any fatal? Long-term? Short term?" I continued.

"You-you've lost yo-your right eye, s-s-sir." She replied.

"I see. Or rather I don't." I joked casually.

"Are y-you sure you-you're okay, sir? You're ca-calmer th-than usual." She wondered.

"That's just the exhaustion." I lied. In reality, I was just trying to prepare myself for the news to come. "I have one last question..."

"Of-of course." She stood up for a moment to check the IV's.

"Is Peko...?" I couldn't even finish the question. "Dead?" My voice hitched in my throat and my eyes watered, the last word had been barely a whisper.

Mikan Tsumuki merely nodded her head slightly. I couldn't believe it. No, I wouldn't believe it.

"Wo-would you like a mo-moment alone?" She asked.

"Yes." The Ultimate Nurse quickly left the room. I had to get a grasp back on reality.

Peko was really gone... I refused to believe that, but I had seen her execution first-hand. But there was that little bit of...

"Hope." I said out loud. I had hope that she happy and safe wherever she is. "Thank you..." I sent a silent prayer that she was in a better place now.

This was just a short little, I don't know what'd you'd call it? Oneshot? Well anyway, hope you liked it!
