Harry's POV
It was about seven o'clock in the evening and Cheryl, Darcy, and I were all cuddled up on the sofa watching some good ol' television. We were silent most of the time—sometimes Darcy would coo and sometimes Cheryl would want to talk in between commercials. It was nice to feel like a real family. No fame or paparazzi to interrupt the peace.
"Harry," Cheryl said, walking her fingers up my arm in a strange fashion. I smiled down at her, readjusting Darcy who was squirming from the sound of my name. I was starting to think that she had already learned my name along with "daddy" but she hadn't found the right syllables to actually say the words.
"Yes, love?" I replied, waiting for her to answer.
"This is kind of sudden, but..." She paused to glance away. I remained my focus on her beautiful eyes and nodded; gesturing for her to tell me. "When do you want to get married?"
I thought for a moment, gazing away at the tele as I let Darcy play with my fingers. I really didn't care when we got married, just as long as it happened—even though it kind of felt like we were already married. I loved her a lot and I was willing to put her first along with Darcy. After all, family comes first.
"Whenever babe. I don't care." I shook my head with a response.
Cheryl sighed, "Well, I think we should start planning soon. Don't you?"
I smiled at her. I guess it was a good time to start planning. After all, Darcy could be our flower girl, and what a cute flower girl she'd be. "Sounds good to me."
Cheryl's face lit up with joy as her smile grew in length, "You're serious?"
I gave her a look, "Why wouldn't I be?"
She shrugged, "Never mind. It's just one of my biggest dreams I've ever had as a little girl."
"To get married?" I chuckled and latched my free hand to hers.
"Yeah, a princess-style wedding with the prince of my dreams." She batted her eyelashes flirtatiously, causing me to chuckle again. My chuckle made Darcy giggle in her small little baby laugh; which I thought was adorable. Like father, like daughter.
"Whatever you want." I smirked and squeezed her hand. Thanks to all the glorious fans out there, I had enough money for almost anything; which means Cheryl can have the princess-style wedding that she'd always dreamed of.
"So do you want to help me plan or do you want me to do everything?" She asked with a huge grin.
"Do you want to plan everything?" I flipped the question on her, changing the tone in my voice. Her eyes went wide.
"Are you sure you want me to do that?" Cheryl questioned again, transforming the tone in her voice as well. I smiled down at her. She must've been really dreaming about getting married for her to be this ecstatic about planning our wedding. It was almost as cute as Darcy's cooing and giggling.
"It's up to you. If you want me to help, then I'll help. But if you don't, then I won't." I said as she suddenly kissed my cheek.
"Darcy, you have the best daddy." Cheryl smiled down at Darcy as she started laughing. I kissed Cheryl on her cheek just the way she did to me.
"Darcy, you have the best mummy."
She rolled her eyes, not accepting my compliment and standing from the sofa—probably to go get some planning done. "If you need me, I'll be upstairs planning my little heart out."
And she left the sound of her feet clunking up the stairs. I shook my head with a chuckle as I gazed down into Darcy's tiny, bright emerald-green eyes. All of a sudden, she yawned; resulting in a yawn from me as well. Everyone knows that yawning is contagious.
"I think someone's sleepy," I said in a baby voice as she said something in baby language. She sure was one of the happiest babies I'd ever met, and I've met a ton of babies.
I stood up and strolled toward the stairs. Once I reached the floor, I was going to ask Cheryl something first. I didn't know if she wanted me to put Darcy to sleep or wait until her usual bedtime, but Darcy's eyes were closing gradually every time she blinked.
I knocked on our bedroom door, "Cheryl?" I pushed open the door and saw Cheryl kicked back in bed with the MacBook pressed against her lap. And she had glasses on; which I've never seen before. We've been together for so long—how did I not notice?
She quickly plucked the glasses from her face and hid them, even though I've already seen them. "Yes?" Cheryl pretended to be innocent. I decided to ignore it for now because I had bigger problems on my hands—literally.
"Darcy's falling asleep and I didn't know whether to put her to bed now or not." I smiled at her from the door frame.
Cheryl sighed again, "Yeah. Go ahead and put her to sleep. It's almost her bedtime anyway."
So with that, I shut the bedroom door to let Cheryl get back to business with her sudden black-framed glasses. I waltzed into Darcy's baby room and placed her in her crib gently, turning on her lullabies that she absolutely adored. Apparently whenever they are playing, she doesn't wake up for anything during the night.
"Goodnight, sweetheart." I kissed my finger and then put it on her forehead. To find out why Cheryl had been keeping her glasses a secret, I walked back into our bedroom and met her on the bed.
She didn't look at me, keeping her typing skills in order, but I had to break the silence. "Cheryl... Why didn't you tell me that you had glasses?" I questioned, positioning myself right next to her.
She sighed once again, "Because I look ugly in them." Cheryl replied, uncovering her glasses from the bed duvet. I rolled my eyes.
"Put them on." I commanded dominantly, and she obeyed. I examined her as she stared into my eyes with a guilty expression.
"See?" She said as I started laughing as if she were joking with me.
"You do not look ugly, Cheryl. You never look ugly." I smirked suddenly getting a kinky thought in my mind. I decided to make it a sentence, "If anything, they make you look like one of those really sexy office assistants."
She smirked back and hit me in the shoulder with her fist playfully. I lowly chuckled; mostly because I was being one-hundred percent honest, and she didn't believe me.
"You really turn me on with those," I paused as I leaned over starting to kiss her neck, "You turn me on with or without those, actually."
Cheryl beamed, "Harry, hold on baby. Let me just put this down and we can continue."
I didn't know that I was starting the process of making love between the two of us.bAt this point, I could definitely hear the bells. The wedding bells is what I heard to be exact—and they were incredibly loud.
