"Harry!" Cheryl called loudly from the front door. "Hurry up!"
She and Harry were going to Harrison's while he was gone to work to get her belongings and return the spare key he had given to her. Cheryl was very nervous, Harry could tell. The way she was rushing Harry out of the door. She never rushed anywhere for anyone. But this Cheryl was also a lot different in a way that Harry knew he was responsible for.
So there Harry was, skidding quickly down the hallway as fast as his booted feet could carry him. "I'm coming babe, I'm coming." He flashed a dimpled smile toward her, reaching the door. He yanked the door open for her, watching her waltz out to his car. He kept his cheeky smile to himself and followed right in her dainty footsteps.
"I'm sorry Harry. I just want to get in and out before he has the chance to show up." Cheryl stated, crawling into the Range Rover. Harry joined her with a small laugh, starting up the engine and buckling himself in.
"Even if he does, I'll make sure he doesn't do anything." He gave her a quick glance of which she didn't notice, soon starting down the road to Harrison's.
Sure he was kind of worried that he might be putting Cheryl and himself in danger, but he just had to help her. There was no way she would be able to get her clothes out of Harrison's house without the curly-haired lad coming along too. Moreover, Harry had even offered to buy her new clothes instead, but she didn't want to make him spend his money. She was starting to get very dependent on young Harry, but he knew deep down that she had her reasons, and he was going to do whatever she wanted. He only wished to make her happy.
Suddenly, Cheryl broke the comfortable silence, "Oh my God. I'm pregnant." Cheryl beamed excitedly, causing Harry to chuckle as he shifted his eyes from the road toward her.
"Are you just now realizing this?" He asked, flashing her a playful look.
"It's just so shocking. I never would've thought I'd be having your baby. But here we are." Cheryl explained, not holding back her giggle.
"Yeah, and I wouldn't want to go through this with anyone else." Harry smirked flirtatiously, earning a couple more giggles from Cheryl.
"You're so sweet, Harold," Her cheeks turned a soft pink, looking away from Harry, but only for a second. "Oh, by the way, I'm going to sign up for yoga classes sometime soon. My mum told me it's a good stress reliever and helps calm nerves."
"Sounds good, babe." He paused, "But I'm going to need you to tell me where to go from here." Harry jokingly remarked as Cheryl frowned and playfully punched him in the shoulder.
"Just turn up here, and we'll be on his street." She said, pointing him in the correct direction. He turned the car on Wilson Avenue, suddenly hearing his pulse start to thicken in his ears. His smile had soon disappeared as he became a little more on edge. As they got closer to Harrison's his concern for their safety grew. "Right here."
Harry pulled into a vacant driveway and put the car in park so that she could get out. "Are you sure about this?" He asked with a look aching both concern and anxiety.
She smiled reassuringly and nodded at him, "I'll be okay, baby. I promise." She said sweetly before heading quickly to his front door. She tugged the key out of her purse and unlocked the door with ease.. Before she wandered inside, she glanced back at him and gave him a thumbs up as if she was signaling that everything was going to be fine. He nodded at her slightly, and she waltzed right on in. And now all he had to do was wait.
A few minutes passed by, and Cheryl finally came out with two boxes, one on top of the other. Harry exhaled a heavy breath that he didn't know he was holding and got out to help her.
"I was so worried." Harry admitted, his body relaxing with Cheryl's presence as the cool night air of London surrounded him. She chuckled as Harry grabbed one of the boxes from her, soon opening the door to the back seat.
"I told you that I'd be okay." She said, setting the first box on the seat. Harry nodded as she turned and grabbed the next one from him. "Didn't you trust me?" She asked all innocently, setting the next box down beside the other.
"Of course I do, but I surely don't trust him." Harry said sternly as he gazed down into her eyes, and she knew that he was right.
"You're sexy when you're serious." Cheryl said in a raspy voice with a sly smirk as she stood on her tip-toes to peck Harry's cherry-red lips.
"You're such a tease." He smirked back, watching her sway her hips around the car to the other side. He climbed into the car and strapped himself in just as before.
"I forgot to tell you earlier, but I asked my mum to come over for dinner tonight. So she could meet you." Cheryl mentioned, linking her hand to Harry's. A lump formed in the back of his throat once again as he pulled away from Harrison's driveway.
"Oh, sounds fun." He replied simply, trying his hardest to sound convincing, but Cheryl was too smart for him and knew better.
"Harry, you don't have to worry." She smiled, tightening her grip on his hand. "It's just my mother. She will adore you."
Harry wasn't too sure about that. Cheryl's mum, adoring him when he's taken her own daughter's virginity away and getting her pregnant? Yep, sounds so adoring.
Once the two got home, they found the lads in the living room playing Mario Kart on the Wii. They were all piled up on both sofas, swearing like sailors at each other. Harry had asked Cheryl to wait for him in the bedroom as she giggled the whole way down the hallway. He was quite embarrassed though.
"Attention!" Harry yelled, standing in front of the television screen.
"Hey! What's your problem?! I was winning." Niall shouted angrily, throwing the controller at Harry. Harry dodged it quickly and placed his hands on his hips as if he were Liam getting onto the boys about something like he always did.
"Guys. Cheryl's mum is coming over for dinner tonight, and I need all of you out of the house." Harry said, suddenly remembering that only one out of the four actually knew who Cheryl was. They all glanced from one another confused—all of them except Louis that is.
"Wait. Who's Cheryl?" Niall questioned. The blonde-haired lad stood from the sofa as Harry squeezed his eyes shut with frustration.
"It's a very long story that I don't have time to explain. Just please. I'll tell you all later." Harry replied as they all got up one by one, Liam turning off the tele.
"Okay." They all muttered, opening up the front door and exiting all together.
Harry smiled to himself in accomplishment and walked to the bedroom where Cheryl awaited him.
"I'm sorry you had to see that." Harry apologized to Cheryl who sat on the bed with her laptop resting on her thighs. She giggled while examining Harry take off his shirt, revealing his muscular upper body.
"It's okay. I thought it was funny." She responded, staring up at Harry from the laptop quite observantly. He noticed her gaze and smirked proudly.
"What?" He asked, playing with his bottom lip.
"M-My hormones are all over the place." She smiled as he returned the favour.
"Sorry." He chuckled and made his way into the bathroom. "I'm just gonna take a shower before your mom gets here." And with that, he shut the bathroom door and stripped down to nothing but his bare body.
While Harry was in the shower, he thought about things. He mostly thought about his baby, whether it was a boy or a girl and what it would look like. He also thought about him and Cheryl's future. So many things we was looking forward too had suddenly changed his life, but he wasn't complaining. Perhaps Phil's plan was a blessing in disguise.
