Harry's POV
"Harry, wake up." I heard a faint voice say from my slumber. It was Cheryl, and she sounded upset. My heart sank as my eyes broke open into pure light. She sniffled when I turned to face her.
"What's the matter?" I examined her moistened face. She had been crying, and my heart was breaking. I didn't even know the reason yet.
"Y-you have to l-leave for tour in t-three hours."
I broke in two. It couldn't be possible. They couldn't do this to me. I have a baby on the way. This is bullshit.
"How do you know?" I asked, my voice filled with both anger and shock. I just couldn't believe my own ears.
"I just got a call from Phil. He told me to tell you to pack your bags because you're going on tour." Cheryl buried her face into her hands.
"No. I'm not going anywhere." I refused as I lifted myself out of bed. I rushed toward my phone that was lying on the end table and snatched it right up. I pressed redial, heard a few noises, and then it started ringing.
"Modest." A familiar voice said from the other end. I knew right away that it was Phil.
"What the hell do you mean I'm going on tour?!" I yelled into the phone, making Cheryl flinch from my harsh tone. I really didn't care about that. I was way too mad to care about anything else.
Phil snickered, "Oh hello Harry." Just the sound of his voice made me want to throw myself out of the window. He just gets on my nerves more than anyone else in the entire world. Actually, I think I want to throw him out of the window instead. "Yeah. You're going on tour with the other lads. Isn't that exciting?"
"No! I have to take care of Cheryl!" I yelled again, but this time I slammed my fist onto the end table. That fat man is irrelevant, and rubbish, just like a piece of trash.
"You wouldn't want to lose your career, would you?" Phil mentioned as my eyes softened, almost tearing up. "Because if I were you, I would take care of work first." Phil snickered again evilly.
"Phil. You have to understand. I can't just leave her all alone. She's pregnant." I said calmer than before. If I left her and something happened while I was away, I would never forgive myself. I love her too much, and I'm supposed to be there for her. I can't leave.
Tears welded in my eyes as I waited anxiously for Phil to answer, hearing my heart beat in my ears. For a moment I actually thought Phil was going to be nice and let me stay with her but, "Harry. Either you go on tour with the boys, or you will be removed from One Direction. Do I make myself clear?"
My heart dropped into my stomach as I forced my lips to move, "Yes sir."
"You're a smart guy. I expect to see you in three hours, Mr. Styles. Don't. Be. Late." He said, ending our conversation. I put the phone down, my eyes daring to glance at Cheryl. I honestly hated my life at the moment.
"Well?" Cheryl studied my glum face, wiping her eyes with the back of her dainty hands. I gazed at her with hot tears in my eyes as I swallowed hard, trying not to let them fall.
"I have no choice." I walked toward the bed and sat down beside her. She rested her head on my shoulder and sighed.
"How long does one show last?" Cheryl placed her hand on top of mine.
"Babe. Tour lasts months." I shake my head, looking into her swollen eyes. That's a sight someone never wants to see. It broke my heart to see her like this.
"Oh. Never mind then." She said, making everything fall into complete and utter silence.

After about forty-five minutes of nothing, I finally decided to pack up my suitcases. I didn't want to of course, but like I said before—I have no choice.
"You have no idea how much I'm going to miss you." Cheryl said from the doorway of the closet. She had been leaning on the door frame watching me pack my belongings.
"You have no idea how much I'm going to miss you." I repeated her words because she'd said exactly what was on my mind.
Suddenly, we both heard a knock on our bedroom door. Cheryl walked toward the door and tugged it open to be faced with Liam.
"Harry, we have to leave pretty soon. It's an hour and a half drive there." Liam mentioned without a smile. He could tell that this wasn't going to be fun for me. I mean, sure it'll be fun, but as long as I'm away from Cheryl, it won't be as much fun. She needed me here.
"Thanks." I say without glancing at him. And with that, he walked back out of the room, and I continued to pack.
"I want to come to the airport with you Harry." Cheryl said, leaning herself back on the door frame. I looked up at her and flashed her the smallest smile. It's the least I could do.
"Are you sure?" I asked.
"I'm extremely sure." Cheryl smiled back through her tears.
She didn't change her outfit, and she didn't do her hair or her make-up. She probably figured that she'd cry on the way there; which I didn't blame her for—was probably going to cry too.
-
The tour bus was finally packed with everyone's things as we all climbed aboard, including Cheryl. Once we were all situated and settled in, Cheryl and I cuddled on a love seat in the corner.
"This must really suck for you guys." Louis stated the obvious as I just rolled my eyes. As you can tell, I wasn't in the mood.
"Yes. Yes, it does. Thank you for confirming the obvious." I snapped as Cheryl glanced up at me with a frown.
"Hey mister. Be nice. Or at least try to be." Cheryl smiled and 'booped' me on the nose with her finger. I attached my fingers to hers and smiled back down at her.
"I'll try."
I leaned over and kissed her pink, plump lips with passion. After all, it was going to be one of the last kisses I'd get from her—for a while that is. Then, I'll come home and kiss every inch of her perfect skin.
"I love you." I said, parting away from her sweet lips.
Cheryl beamed up at me, "I love you more."
I knew I was going to miss her warmth, her voice, and mostly her touch. ♥
