Raven Reyes// The mechanic

Y/n, an engineer, was sent to the ground along with 99 other teens. Raven is a mechanic that comes down later in a pod she built herself. What happens when these two meet?

Y/n POV

Octavia and I are training right now. Octavia is my best friend and is basically like a grounder. She really is the best warrior I know and I'm very proud of how far she's came. She made me train with her because she says I can't sit around on my ass all day doing engineer things.

"No, you need to observe my weakness before just throwing punches everywhere." Octavia said for the millionth time.

"I'm exhausted, can we please just continue this tomorrow please!" I exaggerated.

She knocked me on my ass one more time. That's definitely going to give me a bruise and walked off. She's so stubborn sometimes, I get she's worried for me because I can't defend myself like other people but I'm an engineer and that's all I'll ever be.

As I was about to walk in my tent we saw a pod coming down from the sky. I don't really care that much I'll just see what happens tomorrow.

I made by way to my bed and soon fell asleep. The next time I woke up I somehow felt this urge to go look for that pod.

I ran and ran till I saw a pod in a field. I made my way towards it and opened the hatch. I saw the most beautiful girl. She had dark brown hair, brown eyes, exactly my type. I then saw blood coming from her head. I tore a piece of my shirt and started dabbing her head. As I was doing this she woke up with a jerk.

We looked at each other for what felt like hours but it was just a minute.

She finally broke the silence and said, "I made it?"

I nodded my head and grabbed her hand helping her out. She looked at the ground as if trying to memorize the feeling of the ground beneath her. She looked around as if it was just the world and her which it was in that moment.

"Oh shoot the radio! I have to tell Abby I made it and you all are alive." She said as she made her way to the pod. She looked around and couldn't find it.

"Damn it! It must've have fallen out on the way!" She said clearly angry.

Then I remembered that everyone back at the drop ship doesn't want everyone to know we're alive! Someone must've been here before me and took it! I explained that to Raven then she asked, "Is there any chance that a guy Finn is down here?"

"You mean the guy that's been fucking Clarke since we've been here? Yes." I said.

"What? That dick! He couldn't wait more than ten days." She said angry yet sad.

Then I realized, Finn's her boyfriend. Oh fuck. I looked over and she had tears in her eyes. I brought her close and just held her then whispered, "I would have waited more than ten days."

I then let go of her and held her face. "It'll be okay alright, he's a dick  anyways, but don't be too hard on Clarke, he never mentioned he had a girlfriend." I said.

I grabbed her hand as we made our way back to the drop ship. I didn't realize until about 10 minutes into the walk that we were still holding hands. I immediately blushed. I didn't let go though because if she knew that I knew I was holding her hand she'd realize that I haven't let go yet. Why hasn't she let go yet though?

Soon we made it to the drop ship and I yelled for everyone. Everyone was whispering things like "That's Raven Reyes", "She's the best mechanic we have" and different things. I brought Raven to my tent. I showed her the radio I've been trying to build as I am an engineer. Plus I knew she'd like it in here more than anywhere else since we both share the same passion.

She fiddled with it but soon enough she got impatient so I made us take a break. I took her outside and we were having a nice chat till she saw Finn kissing Clarke. Before I could grab her she marched over to them.

"You fucking bastard! You couldn't wait ten days to cheat on me could you?" She screamed.

The next thing she did was unexpected for all of us. She started screaming I hate you over and over again as she threw punches at him.

I waited a few moments to let her anger out. After all he deserved it. I grabbed her waist and held her close as she kept screaming for me to let go. I don't even think she knew who was behind her nor do I think she cared at this moment. I made her fall with me to the ground as I was still holding her.

"Calm down, I got you, listen to my voice ok? In and out." I said as I kept saying comforting things to get her to calm down.

Finn already walked away. I'm sure he's going to have a black eye and a busted jaw tomorrow, ehh sucks to be him. Clarke was still standing in front of us.

"Raven, I'm sorry. I didn't know he had a girlfriend I swear. I'm going to break things off with him right now." Clarke spoke up.

"I don't care because he has an ex girlfriend now." Raven said as she turned around and wrapped her arms around me.

"Thank you, no ones ever been able to calm me down before, not even Finn." She said genuine still hugging me.

I just hugged her tighter and kissed the top of her head.

Clarke walked off to I assume Finn and Raven and I walked off to my tent.

"Raven why don't you get some rest, you deserve it." I spoke up.

"As long as you sleep with me." She pouted.

My face immediately went beat red as I buy my lip.

"Not that sleep y/n, although I wouldn't disagree on the idea." She said winking.

I rolled my eyes then got in bed with her. She immediately was in my arms with her face in my neck. Soon she started licking my neck, I didn't know what to do to be honest. Next think I know, she's finding my sweet spot, sucking and biting on it. I tried to hold in my moan but it slipped out. She looked at me smirking. I looked at her lips then back up to her eyes. She did the same then eventually we were both leaning in. Our lips molded together as if we were meant for each other.

"Hold on, I'm not the type to do one night stands so if you don't feel the same then we should sto-" I began saying but was cut off by raven.

"The feelings mutual but right now I want you y/n she looked at me desperately.

"And your wish is my command babygirl." I said I left kisses down her neck.
