Y/n POV

"Same time tomorrow girls! Be ready." Our cheer coach says as practice ends.

I keep my cheer uniform on since we had to wear them to school and I didn't bring extra clothes. I pack my stuff and leave the gym with my backpack on one shoulder and my cheer bag on the other.

Once I pile my things in the back seat I get in the drivers seat and attempt to start my car. I try more than five times but nothing works. I punch the steering wheel. "You piece of shit!" When I punched the steering wheel it beeped my horn which definitely got the attention of people in the parking lot.

I got out slamming my door and opened the hood of my car. Smoke immediately filled the air and I started coughing. I backed away quickly and ran into someone while doing so. I turned around quickly. "I'm so sor-" I began to say before I saw her. Raven Reyes. The girl I hate most in this entire school.

"Car troubles?" She smirked while walking to my car hood nudging my shoulder as she did.

"What do you think?" I said with an attitude and stood to the side where I could see her.

"Fine. I could just leave you here? I am the best mechanic there is in this entire town you know?" She says about to walk away.

I interrupt her. "Wait, please!" I say putting a hand on her shoulder to stop her.

While feeling her shoulder, I couldn't help but feel how muscular they were. Raven may be tiny but I can sure feel her muscles. I swear I could feel her just flex it.

"Are you going to continue feeling my shoulder muscle or can I figure out what's wrong with your car?" She said rolling her eyes.

I quickly took my hand back. "I was not!"

"Mhm." I ignored her and waited for her to find out what was wrong.

She went right in with her hands not afraid to get greasy at all. It was disgusting yet sexy when she did it.

"Okay so—" She began to explain what was wrong with my car but I don't understand car talk so all I heard was her say that I couldn't go anywhere with my car until it gets fixed.

"What? Well what am I supposed to do! Oh my god my parents are going to kill me." I raised my voice but mumbled the last part.

My parents are insanely strict. They'd kill me if they even found out I was talking to the school lesbian.

"I may hate you but I'd never let a girl, even you, stand out here with no where to go. I can give you a ride home." She says looking down with her hands in her pockets.

As much I would love that, my parents can't know that she's the one that brings me home. Hell, they can't even find out that my car broke down or they'll make me start riding the bus again.

"You don't understand. My parents can't find out that my car broke down in the first place!" I say panicking.

"Okay... well maybe you could tell them you slept over at one of your friend's house. Make an excuse that you had a project to do. They let you stay over at friend's houses on school nights right?" She says looking at me now. I don't know why she's actually being nice to me.
