Chapter 13

- Night time -

Jungkook P.O.V

" When can I see you again? " Eunwoo pouted and held my hand, making me giggle

" Next time, Eunwoonie~ I need to get back home, it's pretty late already "

" Aww okay then, do you need a ride back home? "

" No, I'm okay. I can just walk back from here "

" You sure? Then let me send my guards to accompany you "

" Ah, I'm afraid that is not needed as well. I'm really okay, it's not that of a long walk "

Eunwoo sighed and nodded, letting go of my hand

" Sure, be really careful. I don't want you getting hurt " Eunwoo stared at me with concern and worry, making me embarrassed

" I will be careful, you'll see me in one piece again "

Eunwoo laughed and nodded

" Okay, I won't hold you back any longer. Go back home as early as possible "

Eunwoo was about to go back into his palace but I grabbed his arm, blushing madly

He looked at me again, worry filling his eyes

" Jagiya, are you alright? What happened now? "

I just continued to blushed and didn't say anything, holding onto his arm

Eunwoo was about to speak again but I leaned in and pressed my lips against his cheek, giving it a soft kiss

He widened his eyes and looked at me, shocked with blushing cheeks

I just gave him a shy smile, giggling cutely

" Do you mind that? "

" No, of course not " Eunwoo grabbed my hand and kissed my knuckles, winking at me

I was a blushing mess at this point

" Be careful, jagiya. I'll see you again soon "

I nodded my head, showing my bunny smile

" Of course Eunwoonie, goodbye for now! "

Eunwoo let go of my hand and I walked away from him

He gave me one final wave before going back inside his palace

I chuckled and walked out of the gates, bowing and wishing the guards a goodnight

The moon was full yet again, that usually means that more vampires are out hunting at night

I sighed and felt super cold although I had my coat on

I took out my gloves and wore them, keeping my hands in my pockets

I made my way back to my kingdom, luckily I still remembered the way back

But also fortunately for me, there were still a few people around

They recognised me so they smiled at me and congratulated me for being Eunwoo's fiancé

- Time Skip -

Jungkook P.O.V

After like an hour of walking, I finally made it to my kingdom

I was lucky enough not to find any dead bodies around

Hopefully the vampires didn't come to this part of the kingdom

Although I kept looking down at the ground, I was still paying attention to my surroundings to see if there are any wandering people around

Usually I would send out the royal guards to patrol around the town to tell any wandering people to leave as there are vampires outside

But nowadays as the murders has been increasing drastically, I stopped sending guards out to patrol as I didn't want them to get hurt either

And my parents who were the King and Queen has also made it clear to the whole kingdom that nobody should be wandering out of their homes at night for their safety

So I just hope that those people listened, or else they're just asking for their death

I walked along the streets, straining my ears to listen if there was anyone needing help

It was pretty dark, and the streetlights were honestly not helping at all

I had better get those streetlights fixed because the lights weren't bright enough

I walked for about another five minutes more when I saw a shadow sitting against a wall

I frozed in my spot, backing away slightly, thinking to run away

I couldn't see clearly what it was, I was scared it could be a vampire

But then suddenly a thought crossed my mind, what if the person is hurt and he or she needs my help?

I was caught in this situation, what if this person is a human and needs my help?

But on the other hand, what if this person is secretly a vampire who's trying to lure humans?

" Ahhh, I'm just going to risk it, it may be a human and I can't leave him or her here alone "

I went forward to the shadow and found out it was a male

I got a bit closer to the male and tapped his shoulder to wake him up

Hopefully he isn't dead, that would be really bad

When I finally tapped his shoulder, I found out that I was right

He had light purple and blue bruises everywhere on his face, his lips also looked a bit bruise

He really is injured, now I'm certain he isn't a vampire

Vampires doesn't get hurt easily do they?

He hasn't woken up, so I kept on shaking his shoulder, hoping to receive some kind of reaction

After a few shakes, he groaned and moved, startling me and I moved backwards

" Hey, sir! Are you okay? "

" Sir! Please wake up! "

" It's not safe out here "

The man finally opened his eyes, he still looked really dizzy and knocked out

" Sir, please get up "

" It's not safe out here at night "

" Come back to my place, and I'll patch you up, it's much safer in my palace "

He rubbed his eyes and then finally opened them fully

He widened his eyes and seemed really surprised to see me

What's wrong? Do I look that scary?
