- Next morning -

Jungkook P.O.V

I smiled as I exited the palace, walking through the gates

I was quite in a happy mood today

I had the guts to confront Jimin last night after I returned to the palace

He revealed the reason why he didn't accepted my confession five years ago 

It was because I was a Prince loved by all, and he was just a normal average boy living in the village

He thought that we didn't belong together because of our different family backgrounds and status

So even when I confessed to him, he rejected me in fear of getting hate from the people in the town

He just thought that I shouldn't marry a commoner like him and that I deserve better

I honestly thought that Jimin was stupid for thinking like that

But it's all over now, and I have moved on with Eunwoo already

Jimin understood me and said that it's okay if I marry Eunwoo because I would be way better off with him ( Eunwoo )

I felt bad but Jimin said he would just try to get over me and find another man suitable for him

But now that I have cleared this issue with Jimin, we're not awkward anymore and we're just back to being best friends

I greeted the guards and left the palace to go to the market as Jin hyung needed more food as stocks were running low

I had volunteered to go down to the market as I was bored in the palace and had nothing to do at the moment

I just finished my breakfast of eggs and bacon in the palace and now I'm currently walking to the marketplace in the town

The weather was always warmer in the day time so I had asked Jimin to prepare a simpler outfit for me and not those Prince outfits

Many people greeted me again, and I smiled and waved my hands at them, giving sweets and chocolates to little kids along the way

I reached the market and smiled, loving the busy atmosphere
