Chapter 46

- Time Skip -

Jungkook P.O.V

I ran and ran, tears spilling out of my eyes as I felt my legs gradually growing weaker and tired

Once I reached the gates of my palace, I opened it even without waiting for the guards to open it for me

They gave me a confused look but shrugged if off and faced the front again

I ran up the stairs and to the front door of the palace, the guards already opened the door for me 

I rushed inside and slammed the door closed, startling everybody

Jimin came running down the stairs and seemed shocked and surprised, " Jungkook? You're back!! Have you seen Taehyung? He suddenly disappeared "

Jimin's face changed to worry when he saw my crying face, he wiped my tears and held my cheek in his hand, " Why are you crying?! Did somebody bully you? "

" T-Taehyung... h-he- "

" Taehyung, what? Did he bully you, Jungkookie? "

We suddenly heard a scream coming from the kitchen, " That sounded like Jin hyung!! Let's go!! " Jimin grabbed my wrist and we ran to the kitchen, shouting for Jin hyung's name along the way

" JIN HYUNG!? What's happening in there?! " Jimin and I knocked on the door loudly

" GET AWAY!! H-HELP US!! VAMPIRE!! " We could still hear Jin hyung screaming, we barged into the kitchen and saw all the chefs crowding in one corner while Jin hyung was shielding them

" W-what happened?! " I asked, not knowing what all the commotion was about

" T-TAEHYUNG!! " Jin pointed behind us and we looked at what he was pointing at, Jimin's face went pale

" W-what the fuck? " Jimin also took a step back when he saw Taehyung

" N-no!! Please! I just want to see Jungkook!! " Taehyung looked at me and was about to walk towards me but Jimin went in front of me, " So you're a vampire all along... YOU LIED TO US?! "

" NO!! P-please... don't misunderstand " Taehyung was about to cry again

" Taehyung... look at yourself, y-you look like a monster... " Jin hyung stuttered

Taehyung indeed looked more scarier now... instead of brown eyes, he now has carmine eyes that was glowing, his big black wings resting peacefully on his back and his sharp two pearly fangs on display

" I-I... " Taehyung tried to explain himself

" You what? " We were interuppted by guards entering into the kitchen, holding Yoongi, Hoseok and Namjoon tightly in their grasps, " SeokJin sir, we caught them like you ask "

" LET US GO!! " Yoongi thrashed around in their tight grips

" T-Taehyung...? Why are y-you like t-this? " The three of them stared in shock at Taehyung's vampire form

" Show yourselves... your true selves, I know y'all are vampires like him too " Jimin spoke coldly

" W-what? We're not- " Hoseok tried to deny but I cut him off " P-please don't lie to us... " Namjoon and Hoseok looked down, while Yoongi was staring at Taehyung in anger

Then all together, a cloud of smoke formed around them and they reappeared, all of them have wings, sharp fangs and carmine glowing eyes

" I-I knew it... "

" I-I'm sorry we had to do this " Namjoon spoke

" W-why did y-you lie to us? " Tears fell from my eyes and Jimin wiped them away quickly

Jin escorted the other chefs out of the kitchen first, joining to stand beside me and Jimin, " N-Namjoon... " Jin stared at Namjoon's vampire form with tears in his eyes

" Yoongi... h-how could you? " Yoongi hung his head down, too embarrassed to look at Jimin, " I'm sorry... I would never hurt you... I promise "

" You lied to me, and to think that I even fell in love with a vampire... "

" Y-you love me? " Yoongi asked in shock

" You idiot!! Haven't you noticed that I'm in love with you?! Ever since I met you... I felt different towards you and I finally moved on from Jungkook. But... I didn't think that you would be a vampire "

" I-I never noticed that y-you love me... J-Jimin I- "

" NO! OF COURSE YOU WON'T NOTICE!!! YOU'RE A VAMPIRE!!! A-and vampires don't have hearts... t-they don't have mercy on humans. O-of course you won't n-notice... I-I'm just probably a l-lousy and stupid h-human to you "

" No, Jimin please listen- " Namjoon kept staring at Jin and Taehyung kept staring at me, it was making me uncomfortable

Another guard soon came and grabbed Taehyung's arms, putting them behind his back

Taehyung didn't even try to struggle out as he continued to stare at me with tears in his eyes, " Jungkook... "

" So that explains the blood bag that I found in my bathroom... I should have guessed at that time, I was too dumb " Taehyung looked down and nodded his head, I should have known, " I-I'm sorry for keeping it from you "

" You should be... you lied to me, and to think that you still have the cheek to say that my fiancé is a vampire when you're actually a vampire yourself " I shook my head, my eyes showing betrayal and disappointment

" J-Jungkook... I would n-never hurt you, y-you know that, don't you? I-I truly care about y-you... please "

" You may not ever hurt me, but do you have any idea how many of my people have died because of you vampires? And just to let you know... I absolutely hate and fear vampires, they're my worst nightmares. In a year, at least more than a thousand of my people die because of you and all your vampire family and friends. And... one of them is even my friend " Taehyung's eyes widened, his eyes showing pure shock and guilt

" My friend that got killed, is also my first love. But... he died because HE WAS KILLED BY A VAMPIRE!! BECAUSE OF VAMPIRES LIKE YOU! I DIDN'T EVEN HAVE THE CHANCE TO CONFESS TO HIM! H-he died in my arms... i-it's always the f-fucking vampires " I shook uncontrollably and tears fell down my eyes at an uncontrollable speed

Jin hyung held me in his arms and wiped my tears, rubbing my back smoothly

Jimin glared at the four traitors in front of us, his hands balled into a fist, " Get out... FUCKING GET OUT!!! YOU FOUR ARE NOT WELCOMED HERE ANYMORE!! W-we don't want v-vampires as our f-friends "

" NO!! JIMIN WAIT!! "

" Just... p-please get o-out and s-stop lying to us... "

" We're really sorry... " Namjoon hung his head down

Taehyung didn't say anything more as he got pulled up to his feet, his wings dropped downwards as a sign of defeat

" Do you want us to kill them, prince Jungkook? "

" No... just k-kick them o-out " The guards nodded and harshly pushed them out of the kitchen

Taehyung didn't make eye contact with me as he was pushed outside behind Namjoon

I fell down to my knees and continued to cry, Jimin and Jin hyung kneeled down beside me, " It's okay, they're gone already. No more vampires can hurt you... or us "

" I-I never i-imagined Namjoon to be a v-vampire " Jin said, still sobbing

" M-me too... f-for Hoseok and Y-Yoongi, I thought they were nice for real " I wasn't listening to them as my thoughts were preoccupied at the memory of my first love dying in my arms, " Come on Jungkook, let's go to your bedroom. I'll set up a bath for you and then you can sleep afterwards, I'll sleep with you for the night, you must have been under a lot of pressure after all that " I nodded my head and let Jimin pull me up, heading to our bedroom
