Chapter 20

Taehyung P.O.V

After Jungkook and I had bought the fruits and vegetables, I started feeling weak and my legs were wobbly

Shit... I instantly knew what was happening to me

I was hungry for blood... too hungry actually

And being trapped in a crowd of mortals was not helping me at all, their blood all smelled so strong

I had to hold myself back from not attacking anyone and letting Jungkook see that I was a vampire

I nearly fell but Jungkook soon came and caught me by my waist, which made me blushed for some reason

" Taehyung, are you okay? "

I felt Jungkook shivered when he touched me, my skin must have became colder

" B-bathroom... " I mumbled out weakly, hiding my face into Jungkook's chest, trying to block out the blood from reaching my nose or else I would go more crazy

Jungkook nodded and supported me to the bathroom

He was really strong for a mortal, but of course not as strong as I was

We reached the bathroom and Jungkook opened the door, letting me go in first

Once again, I nearly fell but Jungkook caught me, making me embarrassed

" Are you okay? Do you need water? There's a beverage stall just outside "

I shook my head and went to one of the stalls in the bathroom with the help of Jungkook

" Take your time in there, call me if you need anything "

I just nodded as I was too weak to say anything else

I slammed the door shut and locked it, sitting down on the toilet seat

I immediately reached in my pocket for my blood bag which I fortunately have thought of bringing with me

I began drinking the blood desperately, trying not to make as much noise as possible

I hope Jungkook won't question me what happened, because I won't have an answer to answer him

The bathroom door suddenly opened and I thought it was just another mortal coming to use the restroom

But then I heard a familiar voice and my eyes widened

I finished the blood bag and threw it away, flushing the toilet to make Jungkook think I was taking a dump

I then straightened myself and unlocked the door

" Yoongi hyung! You're here? " I frowned, opening the door

Jungkook and Yoongi looked at me,  Jungkook seemed really confused

Yoongi smiled and went towards me, hugging me

" Hey Taehyung! So you're in here, I was looking for you "

" How did you know I was here? "

" Ummmm... you told me, brat "

" Taehyung, who is this? " Jungkook still seemed confused, looking scared of Yoongi

That was a pretty normal reaction, everyone who has met Yoongi was scared at first because of his cold look

But once you know Yoongi, he can be really stupid at times

" Yo, I'm Min Yoongi. And I'm guessing you're a mortal? "

" Ummmm... what kind of question is that? I AM a mortal, why? "

I smacked Yoongi's chest and glared at him, signaling him to shut up

" Don't mind him, he always asks stupid questions. Yoongi is my best friend, I known him since our childhood days. He also lives with me in my palace "

" Oh cool! Is Yoongi my hyung too? " Jungkook asked

" How old are you, kid? " Yoongi scanned Jungkook up and down

" I'm twenty-one years old "

" Oh nice, that means I'm older, I'm two hundred and sixty years old "

Jungkook became confused again, raising his eyebrows

I internally face-palmed and had to resist myself from punching Yoongi in the fucking face

I forced out a smile and gave Yoongi a ' I'll fucking kill you if you don't shut up ' face

" Ummmm... what Yoongi meant to say is!! Uhhh... he's twenty-six years old! He's just playing around, as usual "

" Oh... okay, nice to meet you, Yoongi hyung! "

Jungkook shook Yoongi's hand and then widened his eyes and retracted his hand immediately

" Gosh! Your skin is so cold! "

" Huh? It's always cold, what're you talking about? "

" But... it's so warm in the day time though? " Jungkook said with big eyes

" UHHHH GUYS! Let's just get out of here, yeah? " I grabbed Jungkook's and Yoongi's hand, pulling them out of the bathroom to prevent Yoongi from saying anything else stupid which might blow our cover

Wow... the difference in temperature between Jungkook's and Yoongi's hand is crazy

" Taehyung! Where you taking us? " Jungkook questioned, trying to pull his hand back from my grip

" Ummmm... where do you wanna go? "

" Hmmmm... are y'all hungry? " Jungkook asked with a smile

" Ummmm... a little bit? " Yoongi replied, yawning

" Great! Let's go to a café! It's very well known, their cakes and coffees are delicious. You guys should try them! "

" Uhhhh... s-sure! I would love trying them! " I laughed nervously

" Okay, I could recommend you guys some cakes to try out later. I'm sure you would love them! "

" Is there any blood-flavoured cake then? " Yoongi suddenly spoke up

" Huh? What are you saying? There's no such thing... " Jungkook looks 100% confused

I immediately covered Yoongi's mouth, giving him a ' If you don't shut up within 0.1 second, I'll snap your neck ' look

Jungkook just stared at us weirdly, hands on his hips

I laughed awkwardly and removed my hand from Yoongi's mouth while coughing

This is going to be a longgggggg day
