chapter 12: Things change

It was a typical breakfast, for the most part. Y/n wasn't sitting alone for once, she was with Ron, and Harry and Ginny were sitting together. Harry and Ginny made great conversation while Y/n was trying not to cry in Ron's arms. Harry stood up and walked over to Y/n

"Y/n I'm sorry. I don't know what I did but I'm sorry." He confessed.

"You don't know what you did? Harry are you fucking ser-" Y/n got cut off by Ron putting his hand on her thigh.

She was speechless, she couldn't say anything from the butterflies in her stomach.

"Go away Harry, I don't want to talk to you right now." Y/n croaked out. "You said we would be forever."

"Well, things change." Harry rolled his eyes and walked back to Ginny.

Y/n sat there, feeling the overpowering amount of emotions. She could feel Ron's eyes on her, making sure she doesn't do anything she might regret.

"Are you okay," Ron asked, being genuinely worried.

"Yeah, Im okay." Y/n smiled at him while staring into his glistening blue eyes.

When breakfast was over everyone headed to their classes like any ordinary day except for the fact that Y/n couldn't focus. She couldn't stop thinking about Ron, and how gorgeous his hands looked. Of course, she didn't feel bad for thinking about Ron like this, especially after the Harry incident. After class, Y/n walked out to see Hermione waiting for her. The only reason Hermione knew about Y/n and Harry was because of Ron.

" It was a love potion. Harry fainted so we took him to Madam Pomfrey and she confirmed it was a love potion and he didn't know, and that's why he said he didn't know what he did." Hermione blurted. "He should start to remember later today if you want to go see him."

Before Y/n said anything, she immediately stopped thinking about Ron.

"Oh um yeah ill see him later, just come to my dorm at 5." Y/n half-smiled, walking away to go find Ginny.

When y/n walked into the corridor she looked around and saw no one, but Ginny. She quietly stepped behind her and wrapped her hand around her neck so the wand was facing Ginny.

"Pull that stunt again with my man and I'll fucking kill you." Y/n threatened.

She didn't say anything, she just nodded then ran away when y/n let her go.

***TIME SKIP***

When the clock struck 5, Hermione showed up at Y/n's door as planned.

"Are you ready?" Hermione asked. "We don't have to go if you don't want to. "

"No, I want to see him, lets go," Y/n said going to the hospital wing.

When they got to the hospital wing, Harry was already awake and Madam Pomfrey had already told him it was a love potion.

"Y/n I'm so sorry I didn't even notice that Ginny had given me a love potion and-" Harry's sentence got cut off by Y/n slapping him.

"That's for making me feel so jealous that I just had to kiss someone else also," Y/n stated then slapped him again. "And that one was for making me consider breaking up with you."

Harry didn't say anything, he just pulled y/n down and kissed her passionately.

"Ugh get a room," Ron said walking in.

Y/n just ignored him, because now she has the one she loves and that's never gonna change.
