chapter 13:Too little, too late

The day was so slow it felt like time was stopped .Y/n was in the Slytherin common room, doing her usual research until Ron walked in.

"Hey, beautiful" Ron smirked, sitting down next to Y/n.

"Harry and I are back together." Y/n smiled.

" Oh yeah? Well, I guess he can't do anything about this." Ron said before kissing her.

She tried to push him away but he was too strong but then she found her wand in her cloak pocket and did a simple spell to push him off of her. It was lucky she had the cloak on, or she probably would've been in trouble.

"I told you he and I are back together, and there's nothing you can do about it," Y/n argued, while harshly stepping on his chest.

He quickly got out of the Slytherin common room and Y/n went to the hospital wing. On her way there she thought about how terrible it was to live as a woman.

"Hey, gorgeous." Harry smiled.

"Hi," Y/n said. " How are you feeling?"

"So much better, Madame Pomfrey said I could leave today but I wanted to wait for you." Harry held her hand.

"Then we should go, right?" Y/n suggested.

"Yes, we should," Harry said while standing up and walking with her.

They walked down the halls of Hogwarts having basic conversations.

"Do you have quidditch today?" Y/n asked, her breath starting to become heavy from fear.

"Yes, I do." Harry tried to smile. "But I'll try and see if I can swing by after."

She didn't say anything, she just nodded in response.

"I have to get ready, but ill talk to you after quidditch okay?" Harry smiled, putting his hands on her shoulders.

When he left, Y/n was alone with nothing besides her thoughts. So she went to the place where she always goes when she is contemplating ending her own life, the astronomy tower.

***TIME SKIP***

Harry got done with quidditch practice early so he decided to look for y/n. After hours of looking around Hogwarts, there was one last place he didn't check, the astronomy tower. Harry still had his broom with him, so he just flew up the stairs. When he got to the top he saw y/n looking over the edge.

"Y/n..." Harry whispered, trying not the startle her.

She quickly turned around so she could see Harry before she said her last words.

"Y/n I love you," Harry admitted, the first time he ever said those words to her.

She paused for a second before saying " I love you too." and then she jumped off.

Harry got on his broom and tried to race her to the bottom...

but he failed.
