Ella woke up not the couch, alone. Lust had to leave in the middle of the night. It was a shame, really. Lust was on the run, but he wouldn't run with the group. George and Anastasia came down the stairs, holding hands. This flared a spark of jealousy inside Emma's chest. They were so couple-y. Oh well. Kat walked into the living room, ready for battle. She was wearing her leather jacket, black tank top, jeans, and heavy black combat boots. Emma raised an eyebrow. Kat usually stumbled out of bed at around noon, her eyes half closed, looking for coffee. Anastasia once caught Kat shaking some decorative sand into the coffee maker. But today Kat looked around, her violet eyes alert and ready. "Community Service time everybody, suit up!"
Emma looked at her like she was crazy. "No time for this!" Kat declared and snapped her fingers. Emma didn't even have time to groan about Kat's lack of personal space. She found herself in a skintight dark blue tee, white denim jeans, 3 inch heels, and a light green trenchcoat. She looked at Kat, narrowing her eyes, and saw that the others that were dressed similarly. Kat now looked like a respectable person instead of a shady character.
She checked her Rolex, and frowned at the time. "We are going to be late, we have an event to attend." Emma looked around, confused. "What event?" Anastasia asked, looking at Kat, then at George. Kat answered confidently. "Why, the 8:30 am Hollywood bound flight at gate 113, of course.". Emma didn't even have time to complain about Kat's constant impromptu missions, before the goddamn fingers snapped once more, and Emma watched her fingers flicker out of sight.
Emma looked around at the bustling terminal in disgust. People were shoving past each other, dragging suitcases, backpacks, pet carriers, etc. Emma looked around, they had been teleported directly into the tunnel leading into the plane. Emma looked at Kat, but she just stared on nonchalantly. "I didn't feel like paying, let's hurry up." George looked at Anastasia and rolled his eyes. This was very typical Kat.
They boarded the plane, and George and Anastasia sat down next to each other, but Kat dragged Emma to the front and they sat down. Kat sat on the outside, forcing Emma to awkwardly crawl over her. Kat leaned out towards the aisle and thoroughly inspected each, passenger as they walked by. Then came a small tan woman with bleach-blonde hair. She was carrying a large coach purse.
Kat narrowed her eyes, then took a magazine out of the pocket in the front of her seat and began to read. Emma looked at Kat, confused. She would never understand why Kat did the things she did. The crackly voice of a flight attendant boomed across the speakers. "Welcome aboard our plane, please fasten your seatbelts as we head up into the clear blue sky!" Emma groaned. Why were flight attendants always so overly cheery? She sighed and put her head against the window. Despite Emma's best efforts she found herself dozing off.
Emma was rudely awakened by Kat shaking her shoulder. "We need to move!" She hissed through closed teeth. Kat got up and began to walk towards the back of the aircraft, motioning for Emma to follow. Grumbling, Emma complied, almost tripping over her heels. They walked to the back, and Kat closed the outer curtain. Emma looked over to the right and saw the blonde woman rummaging through her bag, mumbling to herself. The woman looked up, and her pupils slanted vertically. She clenched sharp, pointy teeth before charging at Emma. Kat darted to the left, but Emma was left standing there, defenceless against the woman's teeth and claws.
