Nobody had much energy at Kat's house that afternoon.  George and John wondered about what happened, but they didn't dare ask.  The girls were somber faced.  Anastasia just read a book on famous assassins.  Ella just shot arrow after arrow after the target.  The center of the bulls eye was almost full.  George was sparring Kat again, but he still had yet to win.  John was also reading a book, but his book was on angel magic.  Him and Anastasia shared a beanbag chair.  Normally, they would have been  teased until the sun went down.  However, today was different.

Finally, Kat could take no more silence.  "Ella," she said, putting her arm around the tall girl's shoulders.  "We are going out shopping, you and I."  Ella looked at Kat, confused.  "The rest of you can go home, its not like we were getting much done anyway.". As the group stares at Kat in shock, she went over to Ella and took her weapons.  Before they could say anything, the pair flickered out of sight, leaving Anastasia, John, and George alone.

"We could go see a movie?" Anastasia suggested.  The boys just shrugged.  They were kind of low on energy.  Then, John suddenly perked up.  "Let's go to the theater!" He smiled a manic grin and grabbed George and Anastasia.  They all disappeared with a faint glow.

Oooph!  Anastasia had her breath knocked out of her.  She looked over at George, who didn't look much better.  "What the hell was that?". George asked, scowling.  John suddenly appeared bashful.  ".......I tried teleporting......". Anastasia immediately felt bad for him.  "Come on John, it wasn't that bad, you just need to warn us next time."  With that, Anastasia went over and looked at the movies playing.  "Ooooh! Let's see "Scary House of Death 3!"  John immediately piped up.  "That is a splendid idea Anastasia!". He still felt a bit guilty for the rough teleportation.  It was not his finest moment, that was for sure.

They entered the theater and bought tickets.  John guided the gang to three first row seats.  They sat down, munching on cheap popcorn.  The movie was pretty typical, stupid white kids take an Ouija board into a 'haunted house' but as soon as the very obvious 'ghost' jumped out from behind a door,  George shrieked like a little girl.  Anastasia, John, and half the theater turned to look at him.  George blushed beet red, and stuffed his face with more popcorn.  Anastasia smiled understandingly.  She reached out and held his hand.  He looked at her, confused at first, but then flashed a grateful smile.  They spent the rest of the movie like that, except George didn't get scared anymore.
