Mission 4-2-7

Kidnapped

Everyone raced to the control center.

"Who's ships are they?" Shaun asked, taking control.

"Private warships," Elise answered, "They surprised us and we're trapped."

"We're not trapped." Shaun said, "Look for possible escape options. Marco, Michael go man a gun now!"

"Wait", Elise shouted, "We're getting a signal from them. Do I answer it?"

Elise looked to Shaun and Shaun nodded.

Elise accepted the signal.

The face of a man appeared on the screen.

"Where is Alex?" the man demanded.

"Umm" Shaun said.

"Don't play games with me!" the man said, "If Alex isn't on my ship in the next ten minutes. I'm going to kill her!"

"What?" Shaun asked.

"Do I need to repeat myself?" the man demanded, "Get Alex on my ship or I kill her!"

"How will you kill her?" Shaun asked.

The man laughed, "Easy, I installed a simple explosive in her right arm. It should be heating up and getting ready to explode now."

"It's true." Griffin said, "There is a small explosive in her forearm. It's heating up as we speak."

"I'm not bluffing." The man said, "You have seven minutes to get her on my ship."

The screen went blank.

"What should we do?" Shaun asked.

Elise stood up and hurried out of the control center.

"Elise" Shaun called, "Where are you going?"

"Griffin", Elise asked, "Is it them?"

"Yes" Griffin said, "When you give the word I'm ready."

"Good", Elise said.

Elise hurried into the medical bay and threw Alex over her shoulder.

As Elise started towards the pods, Shaun caught up with her.

"Elise!" he yelled, "What are you doing?"

"Following orders." Elise said.

"What?", Shaun said, "Elise stop."

"Griffin, now!" Elise shouted.

Doors began closing behind Elise. Shaun angrily hammered on the door and yelled for Griffin to open the doors up, but he knew he was too late.

Elise climbed into one of the pods and set the unconscious Alex on a chair. Elise started up the pod and pulled out of the ship. She headed towards the warship that had sent the signal.

A bay door opened on the ship, Elise pulled into the ship. As Elise parked, a squad of private soldiers in black uniforms approached.

Elise grabbed Alex and opened the back door of the pod.

Shaun paced angrily behind the locked door waiting for Elise to come back.

The door suddenly opened and Elise stood on the other side without Alex.

"Now don't go getting all mad at me Shaun", Elise warned, "Alex told me some people were eventually going to come and want to take her away. She told me if Griffin said they were the right people, I needed to promise that I would make sure she went with them without a fight. She told me she needed their help and this was the only way she could get it. I promised I would do it and I did."
