~Ok, so the school year has come to an end, and Shelby's, Heather's, and Ky's graduation has come. Colton left six months ago, and will return in a year and a half.

        School was finally over.

All the students started walking to either their cars, the buses, or their carpools.

I started my departure from the school, with Ky and Heather beside me.

"Well, today went by fast," Heather announced to my left. "I agree, Heather. I just wish it wasn't too fast," Ky said to my right, his hand entwined with mine.

"Hey guys, remember what's coming up tonight?" I asked my besties. "What?" Heather asks, her long brown curls blowing in the wind. "You seriously don't have a clue?" Ky asks her, his face with a serious look, but also jokingly.

"Uh, no clue," my best friend replied. I then start to laugh. "It's graduation day!" Heather then stops in her tracks as we walk by her. She then runs back up to us. "You're kidding." "Nope, not kidding. Didn't you hear Principle Kindle announce it over the inner-com?" I ask her. "Uh, no actually," she replied, taking her hair and tucking it shyly behind her ear.

I look over my shoulder to see Jayce Daniels there, talking to his friends.

"Oo, he has an admirer," I tease, bumping Heather's shoulder. "Hey! Stop that," she hisses. Ky notices what we're doing, and he jumps in the conversation.

"Heather, do you want me to set you two up?" Ky asks, leaning behind me with a smile. "Ky Jackson, NO! Don't you DARE set us up! I know he's your best friend, but DON'T!" Heather shouts really loud, catching other people's attention.

Ky reposition's himself, and grabs his smart-phone. "Ky, what are you doing?" Heather asks fearfully. I then hear a 'DING.' I knew that Ky sent a text to someone. Lifting his head up, Ky winks. "Don't worry, Heather, I've got it all under control."

"Ky!" Heather shouts, chasing him, throwing her books and her bag to the ground. I laugh at the sight of my best friend chasing hers and my best friend.

I then hear something come up behind me. I turn around to find Jayce Daniels behind me. He walks up to me, shows his phone, and asks, "Uh, Shelby, I have a question to ask." "What is it, Jayce?" I smile. He unlocks his phone, and shows me a text saying:

"Dude! It's Ky. Shelby's and my best friend Heather has a MAJOR crush on you. I'll talk to you more  about you asking her out, 'cause I know that you like her too. ~K.J"

I look back up at Jayce. "Wait, you like her too?" Jayce looks around, and dips down to my ear, "Only you and Ky know." "Wait, what? You haven't told any of your friends?" I say in shock. "No." "Why?" "Well, I actually don't really know why, I've always kept to myself. Please don't tell Heather," Jayce says, scratching his back, arm behind the head. I smile. "I won't."

Turning back to the cat-chasing-mouse thing, I see Heather turn her head to me and Jayce, and she freezes in place. Ky runs back up to me, and hunches over, hands on knees, trying to get a breather. "Man, I forgot how fast Heather was. I'm going to call her 'Cheetah.' " Standing back up, Ky sees Jayce next to me.

"Seems like you got my text, huh?" "Yep, I just told Shelby."

I look back to see that Heather is ghostly-white. She quickly runs up to me, trying not to make eye contact with Jayce, and whispers in my ear, "Why's Jayce here?" "He wanted to ask me something." "Ok, that's it. I'll see you later today, k?" Heather quickly says giving me a hug. I can tell that she's feeling like she's being watched, which she actually is.
