The Quirk Creating Hero

1A was in the waiting room, getting themselves prepared for the festival, it was uncomfortably quiet, and there was about 10 minutes until they would be called out, Izuku had an idea.

"Wow, it's so quiet and awkward," Izuku pointed out jokingly which caused the class to relax a bit, "how about a conversation starter; if you could have any quirk or change your quirk in any way, what would it be and why?" Izuku asked, getting out his notebook, Shoto, Eijirou, Katsumi, Kazue, Minoru and Himiko all choked on air, thankfully unnoticed.

"While I don't mind the conversation starter, why are you getting out a notebook?" Momo asked, Izuku expected this question, so he already knew how to answer.

"I'd like to get an idea of what kind of quirks hold people's interest, so, research," Izuku said, to which the class nodded understandingly, Hagakure spoke first.

"I'd just want to allow my own visibility, but I'm still happy with how my quirk is at the moment," she said.

"I am quite happy with my quirk at the moment, so I wouldn't change it," Momo said.

"I'd want a quirk that gives me a harem," Sero said, earning some unnoticed death glares.

"I just don't wanna short circuit, but everyone needs some kind of drawback," Kaminari said.

"My quirk is fine," Jirou said, "I'd rather my body change," she then added under her breath.

"I don't really care," Shoji said, "my quirk's already just fine."

"I'm fine with my quirk," Ojiro said.

"I'd want to be more like my brother," Iida said.

"It's best to be happy with what you have rather than hope for more," Mina said, uncharacteristically serious.

"I'd want a quirk that could let me help my parents," Uraraka said.

"I agree with Mina *ribbit*," Tsu said, "it's better to work for improvements,"

"I'd want my strength even without sugar," Sato said, "be able to use it whenever,"

"Dark Shadow is harder to control in the dark, but that's my problem to figure out," Tokoyami said, "so I agree with Asui and Ashido,"

"Call me Tsu, *ribbit*," Tsu said, Izuku began writing down who he was willing to make a quirk for, had it occurred.

"Class 1A, please start heading to the field," said a voice over the intercom.

{At the Field}

"ALRIGHT, PLEASE WELCOME: THE CLASS THAT SURVIVED A VILLAIN ATTACK AND WON; 1A!!" Present Mic shouted into the microphone, "AS WELL AS CLASSES 1B, 1C, 1D, 1E, 1F AND 1H!" Izuku knew that 1A's separate introduction was not making them popular, "NOW, THE FIRST-YEAR JUDGE, MIDNIGHT,"

"Hello," Midnight said as she walked onto a small stage next to the main field wearing her costume, much to the student's dismay.

"Should she be wearing that in front of kids and teenagers?" one student asked.

"Can't she wear something more appropriate?" asked another student.

"So sexy," Sero commented.

"Now, can the first-year representative, Izuku Midoriya please come up and make the student's pledge," Midnight said, Izuku walked up calmly, inside he was freaking out a bit though, he had no idea he was the first-year representative, once Izuku got to the mic, he took a deep breath.

"I'm not going to tell everyone to go 'Plus Ultra'," Izuku started, confusing everyone, "because that what UA already expects, work hard and try to beat me, because I plan to prove that even quirkless people can be heroes," he finished, and everyone got hyped up, they already were from the song earlier, but this became icing to the cake, while quirkless people watching from around the world were now looking up to Izuku.
