The 40 students all gathered in the stadium, waiting in front of Midnight for an explanation on the next event.

"As you heard, next up is the Cavalry Battle, in this event, students make teams of 3-5 people, you will spend 15 minutes battling for headbands with points based on your positions, 40th having 5 points and increasing by 5 each time, the team structure will be 1 rider who holds a band with their points on, and the rest support them, if the rider touches the ground, that team loses, if you lose all of your points, you're still in the game, try to take other teams' points," Midnight explained, the students nodded in understanding, "however, first place has a unique amount of points; first place gets 1,000,000 points," Shoto flinched slightly at how almost all students looked at him with bloodlust, they were going to go for his points, "now, you have 5 minutes to find a team, GO!"

{Shoto POV}

Shoto was panicking on the inside, he had the most points, so he'd be everyone's target, however that worry was soon alleviated when Momo walked up to him.

"Todoroki, may I join your team?" Momo asked.

"Really, you want to join, even though everyone will be after us?" Shoto responded in disbelief.

"Well, I trust you, you have good control over your quirk, and we know how one another thinks after our training over the past two weeks, so yes, I'd like to join you," Momo answered.

"Thank you, Yaoyorozu," Shoto said.

"Hey, Mr 1,000,000," shouted a voice, Shoto and Momo turned to see the girl with pink dreadlocks he saw in the race earlier.

"Yes?" Shoto asked, he figured she was talking to him.

"Let me join your team," she said bluntly, "with the help of my babies, we'll win for sure and you're everyone's target so that means my babies can be in the spotlight too," she explained.

'Babies?' Shoto thought, "may I ask you name?"

"Mei Hatsume, genius inventor," the girl said proudly.

'Oh, her babies are her inventions,' Shoto realised "what kinds of inventions do you have?" Shoto asked, 'depending on what there is, I'll decide who else we'll need,' Mei got excited and started pulling out quite a few interesting inventions, "okay, what do these run on?" he asked, referring to a jetpack, hover boots and a projectable shield.

"Electricity," Mei said simply.

'Alright,' Shoto thought, before walking to a student, "Kaminari, can you join my team?"

"Sure thing, bro," Kaminari answered cheerfully, now that their team was gathered, Shoto brought them together.

"Okay, we have 3 more minutes, so here's the plan, Yaoyorozu will be the rider, do what you feel is right, I trust you, Kaminari, Hatsume and I will be the horses, we'll have Hatsume's inventions on, Kaminari, you charge them when they need it, you shouldn't overload with charging them, I'll make ice creatures to protect us, Hatsume, what's your quirk?"

"Zoom, I can have my sight zoom in essentially," Mei explained.

"Okay, keep an eye on the other teams, see what points they have and who's on each team, we have a few main threats, Izuku, Kazue, Minoru, Kirishima and Bakugo, they have the strongest quirks and they're the best when it comes to strategy, though Bakugo has battle instinct instead. Izuku is the biggest threat though, he may not have used his quirk, but he still obliterated the villains at the USJ, and he's got a master's in Quirkology, so if he gets his hands on the right team, he'll cause mass destruction, make sense?" Shoto finished.

"Yeah," Kaminari and Momo agreed.

"Who's Izuku?" Mei asked.

"He's the guy with the green undercut, Izuku Midoriya, he came in second and made the student pledge," Momo explained.
