Luna the Killer: Remastered

(No disclaimer this time, as the original work is confirmed to be a parody. However, I am still remastering it into a regular story with serious intent.)

Luna was beautiful. But, she was mistreated undeservedly. Her parents were unmarried, but still lived together. Her mother verbally abused her every day and didn't love her, as she was an unwanted child. Luna's father didn't do anything about his girlfriend abusing their daughter, as all that he did was watch TV. When he wasn't watching TV, he was passed out drunk, as he was an alcoholic and drank at least one can of beer every day. Her family was a dysfunctional one for sure, but, CPS did nothing, as they are idiots who shove their noses where they don't belong whenever an agent of theirs hears a child cry, but they don't do jack shit when a child is actually being mistreated. This statement is the only true (well, true only for some countries) thing in this entire story. One day, Luna slept around the clock, as she was really tired from yesterday's work (she did hard labor for pennies and had even more of it than usual yesterday). When she did eventually wake up at 13:30 (1:30 PM), she was surprised that her mother didn't wake her up, because of how long she slept. But, she did finally get some good rest. As today was Saturday, she didn't need to go to her work. She dressed herself and went downstairs to greet her parents. She went inside her mother's bedroom, and what she saw was beyond horrifying. Her mother was lying dead on her bed, her throat slit. Same thing with her father. Even though her parents were cruel to her, she still loved them, so, seeing them dead made her break down in tears. She didn't call the police, as there was no evidence on who killed her parents and why, and the first suspect would be her, as she was the only one in the house except them, and no one would believe how long she slept and just pass it off as a lie and false alibi. She decided to do a foolish thing, but, it was the only way out: find the killer herself and avenge her mother and father. She had found out a while ago that she had void powers and could reveal tentacles in battle, so, she decided to defeat the murderer this way. She went outside of the house and saw an anorexically thin man with papery thin, white skin and messy, dirty black hair. He had disgusting, inflamed wounds on his mouth that were crawling with insects who were eating him alive. His eyes were dried out, and he was most probably blind. He had no eyelids. His clothes were torn and covered in blood and filth. He was holding a rusty, bloodstained knife in his hand. She knew who this was, and why he was here. He was Jeff the Killer. The monster who had killed both his own family and her family. She was going to kill him to avenge everybody who he had killed or hurt. She took her father's old pistol that he still had in the house that he (legally) brought with him after he left the military, and was ready to fight the zombie-like creature. Obviously, a military gun was more powerful than a rusty knife that was close to breaking, so, she defeated Jeff with ease. After defeating him, she felt something tell her to go into the woods near her house. When she went into the woods, she saw a strange being. It was three meters tall with white skin, no hair or facial features, a cliche-looking black suit with a red tie, and tentacles coming out if its back. She knew who this was too. The Slender Man. When she saw him, he felt familiar. They both had tentacles and void powers...were they related? She first wanted to kill him like she did with Jeff the zombie, but, she decided not to. The entity spoke, even though it had no mouth:
LUNA, MY DAUGHTER. WE FINALLY MEET AGAIN. I THOUGHT THAT YOU HAVE DIED. BUT, IT TURNS OUT THAT YOU ARE ALIVE. I ALSO KNOW THAT YOU KILLED ONE OF MY PROXIES. BUT, IT IS ALRIGHT. I HAVE DISBANDED THE PROXY ORGANIZATION ANYWAYS AND KILLED THE OTHER MEMBERS. IT WAS NOT MY ORDER TO KILL YOUR ADOPTIVE PARENTS. JEFF DID IT HIMSELF AND GOT WHAT HE DESERVED. NOW, SINCE YOU HAVE NOWHERE TO GO, WOULD YOU LIKE TO GO WITH ME?
Luna agreed. Since then, Luna lived with her father, and, they together became vigilantes who killed evil serial killers with their powers.
