Maddy's POV

I slowly pulled my hand out of Harry's and averted my gaze to the floor. Louis and Liam were completely oblivious to the tension, and Louis continued running his mouth.

"Liam, come help me cook!" Louis grinned and grabbed Liam's hand, dragging him off towards the stairs. "Maddy you can drop your stuff off in the guest room if you want!"

"Thanks," I whispered.

"You know he can't hear you," Harry's deep voice sent yet another shiver down my spine.

I turned around quietly not knowing what to say, and headed for the guest room. I opened the door and chucked my stuff on the bed. I searched through my bag for my phone and charger when I heard footsteps approach the doorway.

"Maddy," Harry sighed. "I'm sorry."

"What?" I choked in confusion.

"What? You've never heard anyone apologize before?" Harry chuckled and I blushed, turning my head so he wouldn't see. "I overreacted last night about you going out to dinner with Louis and Liam. Now that I know it's just those two idiots I'm not mad anymore."

I almost defended Louis and Liam, but I was too tired to get into another argument.

"I'm uh gonna go get changed in the bathroom," Harry awkwardly said.

I didn't turn back around until I heard the bathroom door shut behind him. I took my bag off the bed and placed it on the floor. I sat on the bed, and before I knew it I had fallen asleep.

Harry's POV

I walked away from the guest room, confused about why Maddy hadn't said anything in response to my apology. I rarely apologized for anything, because I never did anything wrong. I tried to push the thoughts away as I slid my shirt and sweats on over my still-damp body. I washed my face and ran my fingers through my hair until it looked decent. When I entered the guest room for the second time, Maddy was sound asleep on the bed. I gently placed a blanket over her and pushed her wavy hair out of her face. He lips were slightly parted, and she was snoring a little but it was cute. I turned around to leave the room and I shut the light off after looking over at her one last time. I closed the door and headed down the stairs. On my way to the kitchen, I heard Liam talking excitedly about something.

"You didn't tell me he was the Harry Styles!" Liam exclaimed and I rolled my eyes. "He's a famous youtuber!"

"Yeah, I know," Louis began and his eyes met mine as I entered the room. "But you'd never heard of him until you looked him up because he looked 'a little familiar'. He's not actually that famous, nobody likes him."

Louis grinned at me to show he was joking and waved me over to join Liam and him at the counter.

"Where's Maddy?" Liam looked behind me as he asked the question.

"Uh, she's asleep," I felt a small spurt of jealousy course through my body, but I pushed it away. "You got any alcohol, Lou?"

Louis giggled and grabbed a bottle of red wine out of a cupboard. He poured some into a plastic cup and handed it to me.

He spoke as I grimaced at the taste. "I'm underage remember? I had to buy it from one of those cheapo stores where they don't ask for I.D."

"How do you guys know each other if you're 21 and he's 18?" Liam looked confused while typing something into his phone.
