Chapter 1

Maddy's POV

"MADDYYYYY!" I heard Luke scream to me from the kitchen after a really loud crash sounded throughout the apartment.

I sighed, not really feeling in the mood to deal with Luke and his clumsiness. I slowly got up off my bed stomping towards the door.

"What the hell did you do this time?" I scolded while entering the kitchen. I saw our brand new coffee pot broken on the floor surrounded by a puddle of ramen noodles and hot water.

Luke smiled sheepishly at me,"I tried to make noodles in the coffee pot and I broke everything."

"Dumbass," I said quietly while I walked away from Luke and back upstairs leaving him to deal with his mess.

"Luuuuuuuuuke are you okay baby?" Sam called from upstairs. He sprinted down the stairs to come check on his beloved boyfriend, and he knocked me over on the way.

I got up and walked back in the kitchen to yell at my best friend when I saw Sam and Luke making out against the fridge. The ramen noodles and broken coffee pot were still lying on the floor. I groaned and left, hoping eventually someone would clean it up.

"We're baaaaack bitches," I heard my other best friend call from the front door.

"CAROLYYN! ADDYYY!" I squealed as I jumped into my other best friends' arms almost knocking them over in the process.

"We were only gone 8 hours why do you suddenly love me so much?" Carolyn laughed while taking her coat and shoes off, throwing them near the door.

"I don't love you that much I just need you to save me from my life that is basically becoming a gay porno," I said emphasizing the last couple of words to get the attention of the lovebirds in the kitchen.

"You're just jealous 'cause you haven't had a real boyfriend in like two years," Sam called from the kitchen.

I snorted (even though it was true), "Yeah right."

"Shit, Stella it's almost time," Addy said dropping all her stuff by the door and rushing into the living room.

I heard groans sound throughout the apartment from the three members of our little family who are not obsessed with the YouTube sensation sex god that is Harry Styles. However, since they love us so dearly, every Friday at 8:00 pm we have a gathering on our couch and watch his new video. He had been tweeting about having a special announcement lately, and my stomach was fluttering with excitement and nervousness. I heard Sam and Luke opening and closing cabinets in the kitchen, getting us food for our weekly ritual.

"Awww man," Luke whined from the kitchen after I heard yet another crash.

"Lucas, I'm gonna have to kick you out if you keep breaking literally everything in this apartment," I yelled at Luke while walking into the kitchen to see what he broke this time.

There were four cereal boxes on the floor, the contents spilled and mixed together with the ramen noodles and glass shards from earlier. I sighed and pinched the bridge of my nose, walking out of the room before I exploded. I sat down on the couch with Addy and Carolyn, waiting for Sam and Luke.

"Where's Calum?" Carolyn asked quietly trying to make sure Sam and Luke didn't hear her. It didn't matter if they did or not, everyone knew Carolyn was in love with my brother (except for my brother).

I just laughed and shook my head.

"What?" she asked innocently.

"Seriously, I already told you he's coming back later tonight you can keep your legs closed for a couple more hours," I turned to check the time.

"Hey idiots could you hurry it up a bit?" I called to Luke and Sam in the kitchen.

I heard them walking towards the living room giggling. Then I heard Luke walk right into the doorframe and drop his bowl of ice cream on the floor. I didn't even say anything this time he knew what I was thinking. He grinned at me when he came into the room and I glared, making him laugh.

Sam and Luke joined us on the couch, and I started hyperventilating per usual.

"You seriously need to get a hobby, Madz. If he knew you were this obsessed with him, he'd probably file a restraining order against you." Sam said teasingly nudging me with his elbow.

"If he filed a restraining order against me I'd be eternally happy," I smiled at the thought of the one and only Harry Styles noticing me in real life.

Finally, a new video popped on his page. Addy and I squealed while our three roommates sighed in disappointment.

"GUYS SHUT UP HE'S ON!" I yelled at nobody because no one was talking.

"We're not even --" Luke started but I shoved him off the couch before he could finish his sentence.

Carolyn laughed while Sam flung himself on the floor to help his baby.

"Hello guys Harry here. Now this week's video is going to be a tad short because this week has been very busy for me. I wouldn't have posted a video at all but I have a small announcement to make. As most of you know, I have recently reached 5 million subscribers on my channel. You guys are amazing and I love you all a LOT. Anyways, I recently got an invitation to VidCon in New York City this September."

"WHAT WHAT WHAT WHAT THE HELL OH MY GOD HE'S COMING HERE HE'S COMING HE'S COMING HE'S COMING HOLY SHIT," I screamed and hugged all of my friends, then did a lap around the first floor of our apartment. I sat back down as if nothing had happened and continued to play the video.

"I accepted this invitation obviously, so I will be coming to see a lot of you this fall. Since I love all of you so much, I will be hosting a contest. At VidCon, I will be doing a raffle. The first prize winner gets to be in a video with me and they also get to spend a day with me and my step-brother Niall in the city.."

"HOLY SHIT MADDY DID HE JUST SAY WHAT I THINK HE SAID?!?" Addy screamed as we both started screeching and crying and doing victory dances around the entire apartment.

After like 20 minutes of running around in circles like four year olds on drugs, we sat back down in the living room to watch the rest of the video. Carolyn had left to go up into her room and hide from the mentally unstable teenage girls. Luke and Sam had probably gone off to make out somewhere. The rest of the video just talked about the details of VidCon and that whoever got normal tickets for the convention could watch his little chat session at his booth and also enter in the raffle for the grand prize. Somehow Addy and I calmly bought tickets for the five of us plus my brother Calum and they were now in the process of being mailed to our apartment.

I was meeting the love of my life in 37 days.
