A loud metal clank awoke Alixandria. She woke up slowly at first, confused by her surroundings. Concrete walls, cracked with age and caked with strange substances, glared down at her. There were no doors and a single flickering lightbulb hung from the ceiling.
Alixandria's throat was horribly sore, and every swallow hurt. Her eyes were blurry and she tried to wipe them, though she soon found that her wrists were chained to a stake in the wall. Alixandria's head spun, and she finally realised where she was.
Well not exactly where she was, but more like what she had done. Her thoughts drifted to the Doctor and she panicked. Where was he? Had he been caught as well? Was he looking for her? Either way, Alixandria needed to get out of this cube. She looked around the cell a second time, her senses in tune.
She could hear a wail every once and a while in the distance, a bone chilling cry. Alixandria couldn't make out any words, but the message was all the same; have mercy. An echoey clank would resound through the, what she assumed were, halls of cells. What Alixandria couldn't hear though, were footsteps. What life form was out there? Was anything out there?
Alixandria's legs had already fallen asleep by now, as the chains weren't long enough for her to walk around. They were hardly long enough for her to stand up. Her wrists were red and tingling too, despite her efforts to keep blood circulating.
Throughout this all, though, the most chilling was a message written on the wall. She could hardly read it, and she couldn't tell what the author used as ink. Not that she truly wanted to know anyway. The message read:
The red rain talks to me
And the black sun dance
For eternity
It's strange weather
In a small town
It's a unique world
Because the crow starts
To sing again
The house-
It's destroyed
And the sky
Starts to cry
I will speak to the clouds
And the stars
Until the world
Welcomes meAlixandria thought the poem had no meaning, and perhaps it did. She tried not to make anything of it and try and focus on saving her own life. However that wasn't the case. Her mind would start trying to piece things together, and Alixandria would always somehow come back to the poem. So she went through line by line...
Red rain must be blood, she thought. And the black sun could be either an eclipse or perhaps the moon...? A small town could be the prison, or wherever it is I am. And I'm on a unique world, so probably somewhere foreign. People are dying, so the crows are singing. So what does that last bit mean? Her brow furrowed. Will they pray until they die? And what house is destroyed? Is this the 'House'? And what happened to the author?
As if on cue, a dark entity appeared into the room...

Nothing much to say besides things are going pretty crazy in my world, but nothing I can't handle. I hope. I got my braces off by the way, if anyone cares, and they feel weird! Thanks for reading guys! As a last heads up, no I don't edit. Maybe I will later whatever. I'm tired and stuff so editing is not a priority at the momentHeart,
Comment (if you don't comment I probably won't think anyone's reading and thus I won't update as fast, so comment people),
