Three years later...
Asiyah's POV.
6am alarm goes on.
Wake up, shower, get dressed.
7am healthy breakfast is ready to be served.
Eat while looking at the day's schedule.
8am in the car and on my way to the company.
This is how I've been living my life for the past three years.
Many things happened and changed. But my life took the biggest turn ever and I'm not the same anymore.
Once I arrived at the company, I waited for one of my guards to open the door for and then I got out with multiple guards following me.
We got inside everyone around greeting me. Without greeting them back, I make my way for the elevator that will take me to the last floor up there.
We arrived there in a bit and I made my way to my office. My guards took their place meanwhile I got inside with only my secretary allowed to get in.
I sat on my seat and took a breath waiting for him to remind me my first task of the day.
"Good morning miss Asiyah, you're starting off your day with a meeting with the staff board they will be waiting in the meeting room in exactly 20 minutes" he said.
I slightly nodded.
I grabbed the files on my desk and looked through them quickly to memorize the meeting's subject.
It's crazy how just a few years ago, it was hard for me to memorize anything without the help of anyone and now anything that I read immediately gets into my brain and stays there as long as I want.
Someone's phone vibrated and I looked in my secretary's direction.
He picked it up and talked for a few seconds before hanging up.
"Fazal, who is it?" I asked him.
"You dad wants to see you during your half an hour break after the staff board's meeting" he said.
I rolled my eyes and nodded.
I hate when he calls me over or when he wants to see me.Everyone in the family knows I don't like my parents. They didn't deserve me.
He's my stepfather and he owns this company.I have the highest position under him, that's the only reason why I don't disagree of him coming to see me.
Otherwise, I don't waste my time on things that don't bring me any good profit.
After the meeting that lasted at least two hours, I went back to my office and he was already there waiting for me.
"Good morning mister Sharif" I said sitting in front of him on the couch.
"Good morning to you as well my beloved daughter" he said.
Restraining myself from rolling my eyes in front of him, I gave him my fakest smile as we proceeded with our talking.
After some time, he left and I was really glad because I don't like when he's around me I feel suffocated.
"here miss Asiyah" Fazal brought me a water bottle.
"thank you Fazal" I said.
"don't mention it" he said.
"how's your mom doing now?" I asked him dropping my serious tone.
A few months ago, his mom got really sick and he was in serious need of money. Just like any good person would do, I helped him with everything that I had.
