"So have you managed to see anyone about your back yet? Or have you been putting it off?" Harry asked as they walked down the street.
"Erm I guess you could say I've been putting it off." Zayn shrugged, what else could he say?
"Babe.. havin' a bad back due to an injury is normal. Are you like.. embarrassed or something?"
Zayn inhaled, hands shaking as he held back from rubbing against the suddenly very , active bump containing their daughter.
"N-no! Just think it could be worse, like It's been worse in the past so I'm not worried.""Fair enough, just promise me you'll go if it gets to the point where you can't move ok?"
"I promise, I love that you care so much."
"I love you." Harry responded.
Zayn was always filled with an insane amount of love for the boy beside him. He didn't think it was possible to love someone so much , until Harry. The boy would forever hold his heart. For more than one reason. He wasn't just his first love, he was the father of his daughter. The boy he hoped he would spend the rest of his life with.
"I love you more. I really , really do." He replied softly, pecking the older boys hand.
"Best keep things toned down in front of your mum huh?" Harry snorted in amusement.
"I think we're past the hiding stage H, they've known the whole time." Zayn chuckled rolling his eyes.
"Bullshit! They just say that to make themselves sound cool. They didn't have a clue."
"You keep telling yourself that baby."
They took around fifteen minutes to finally arrive at Zayn's house. Harry had been gabbing away about how much he loved the independence and freedom of living in Liverpool. Zayn couldn't be prouder.
"Oh Harry!" Trisha's voice squealed, the woman rushing out of the kitchen. Fake bump clearly visible under her jumper.
"Trish! Hi! Look at you." Harry giggled , hugging the woman close.
Trisha blushed, something Zayn knows she does when she's under pressure. Lying being one of those moments where the pressure is truly on.
"I know, getting big. Just ten little weeks to go."
"Wow! That went so quick! Bet you can't wait to see her though. She'll be just as beautiful as Z."
Zayn blushed at that, a soft smile gracing his face as he imagined what their baby girl looked like. Maybe she'll be like him, dark haired, olive skin, but with Harry's green eyes. She'd be perfect.
"Hmm, I'm hoping she'll look like me." Eric's voice , chimed in. Trisha sighing in relief as the attention was moved away from her.
"Hi!" Harry greeted .
"Hi son, how's things?" Eric quizzed, patting Harry on the back.
"They're good, I'm loving it in Liverpool to be honest. It's an amazing city." The Cheshire lad replied with a smile.
"That's good! Why don't you and Zayn go on up to his room. Get you settled."
Zayn smiled at the man in appreciation. He knew that his back would kill after the long walk so going up to the room would give him chance to sit around and chill for a little bit.
"You sure you're ok with your bag?""It's one bag Z, you know I carry lightly." Harry snorted , kissing the boys cheek before rushing up the stairs. Comfortable as ever.
"You ok sunshine?" Trisha asked quickly before he followed after.
