Five Years Later...
JAMES' P.O.V.
I sit on out on the front porch of my new house, with Hope sitting by my right side.
Discord has been destroyed, Sam and Sebastian are dead, I went to Ash's funeral, Tim, Harry, Lucy, and I are still in contact with each other.
I retired from being a detective last year.
Tim was sad to see me leave Ryme City, but at the same time, he supported my decision to leave.
I returned to the area where I grew up.
I haven't seen Mewtwo, Xerneas, Rayquaza, or even Mew, in a while.
I think Mew said that she wanted to start a family with Mewtwo, and I haven't seen her ever since.
And Lily has decided to partner up with a police officer named Logan Robinson Mitchell.
I look at Hope.
"We've come a long way, haven't we Hope?", I say.
She looks at me, and smiles.
"We have.", she says.
A green Sylveon walks out onto the front porch.
"Hi Daddy! Hi Mommy!", she says to us.
"Hey there April.", I say.
"Hi sweetie.", Hope says.
April hops up onto my lap, and she wraps her ribbons around me.
I hug her back.
Hope hops onto my lap as well, and she joins the hug.
I smile, feeling the love from both of them.
I take a deep breath.
'It's good to be alive.', I think.
