Week Two of the Investigation...
JAMES' P.O.V.
I'm walking down the street, when I suddenly hear a trash can fall over in an alleyway to my right.
I cautiously walk into the alleyway.
"Hello?", I ask.
A Riolu walks into view.
She's hurt.
"Hey there buddy, are you okay?", I ask her in a calm tone.
She shakes her head.
"No, I'm not okay.", she says.
"Well then what happened to you?", I ask her.
Her eyes widen.
"Y- you can understand me?!", she says in surprise.
I nod.
"So YOU'RE the human that all of the Pokemon have been talking about!", she says.
I stare at her, a little confused.
"Wait, other Pokemon have been talking about me?", I ask her.
"Well yeah, you're the only human in Ryme City that can understand Pokemon.", she says.
"Well how about that.", I whisper to myself.
"Can... can I come with you? Please?", the Riolu asks.
"Sure. I'm always happy to help people and Pokemon.", I say.
The Riolu jumps up and down in joy.
"Thank you, thank you, thank you!", she says.
"What's your name?", I ask her.
"My name's Lily.", she says.
"Well Lily, I'm James Johnson. Although, I guess you already knew that, right?", I ask.
She nods.
"Alright, let's head back to my place.", I say, motioning for Lily to follow me.
Lily hurries after me.
