Chapter 10- Assassination Attempt!

The Next Morning...

HOPE'S P.O.V.

I'm awakened to a thumping sound.

I open my sleepy eyes, yawn, and get up.

I quietly make my way over to James's bedroom, to see if he's up or not.

His bedroom door is slightly ajar.

I push my head against the door, and I gasp.

A man is standing next to James as he sleeps in his bed, and he's pointing a gun at him.

I don't think, I act.

I run at the man, and I sink my teeth into his left leg.

He yells in pain, and I wrap my ribbons around his left leg.

The man tries to shake me off of him, but I just bite deeper into his leg.

James wakes up, and immediately tackles the man to the ground.

I let go of the man's leg, and pull my teeth out of his fleash.

James quickly disarms the man, and points the gun at him.

"Who are you?!", James shouts at the man.

The man doesn't answer him.

James punches the man in his jaw, hard.

"You better start talking buddy!", James says.

"I'm not telling you anything!", the man yells.

"Fine, but I'll get you to talk soon enough!", James says.

James slams the butt end of the gun against the man's forehead, knocking him out.

James gets up, and grabs his phone.

He dials a number on his phone, then puts his phone against his left ear.

Someone must've picked up, because James starts talking.

"Hey, I need you to get Harry, and meet me here at my apartment. Someone just tried to kill me.", James says.

'He must be talking to Tim.', I think.

"I'm fine, and so is Hope. Just hurry up, and get your ass over here!", James says.

He hangs up.

James walks over to me, and crouches down.

He hugs me, and I wrap my ribbons around his arms.

"Thank you Hope, you just saved my life.", James say, hugging me a little tighter.

"You're welcome my love.", I say, tightly squeezing my ribbons around his arms.
