- I don't want to go - I said annoyed at Kai who ignored me completely pulling me up from the couch

- Since when do you refuse to attend Chelsea games? - The German asked me and I shrugged

- Since Nations League are back in a week, I've been planning everything like a maniac and I'm tired and want to stay in bed all day. - I said complaining to him

Kai and I have become somewhat closer friends than before, something I was not expecting, but with me training the footballer three times a week we quickly extended our hangouts either after training was over or for days that we were not training and that was a shock for the both of us, but we did click and at the end of the day he has been improving a lot more recently.

- If you come tonight I'll buy you those donuts you like - He said and I looked up from my computer that had a few statistics from health exams the players from England have done. Donuts and a Chelsea game sounded way better than reading over those exams again.

- Fine, but I want a box of six.

- You get whatever amount you want - He said and I nodded at him getting up from my bed - If I don't see you there, you get zero donuts.

- I'LL BE THERE. - I screamed since he was already on his way out probably to go to the pre game concentration.

I went inside the stadium going towards Mason's cabin, that was literally the place I almost always watched the games specially if I came by myself, that way I didn't have to interact with anyone. And today, the only person I was willing to interact was Chloe.

Nations League is not like the World Cup where everything happened in months that all the focus are on it. While we have NL all the players are also playing for their teams in whatever league they play in and because of it, us in the National Teams have to be updated with everything they are doing in their teams so we don't overwork them or let them lose the form they're on.

Because of it not being followed months like WC, we play sporadically, we played September and now we're coming back in October, a month later, so in a month a lot changes in the players conditions and we have to plan work outs and everything to make them better and not more tired since we don't want to lose the games.

I'm lucky to be friends with most of the players so I get to simply text them and make sure they start doing some easy trainings at home or even alongside their fitness coaches - some of them who I actually know and talk directly to try and work something out -.

- You're stressed, like always. - Chloe said to me at halftime and I nodded - You have done it before and if you weren't good at it Southgate and the rest wouldn't let you be a part of the team.

-he  I know, but you know, I always have this little part of me that questions if I'm not going to be at fault of a player not being able to give 100% on the pitch, you know? Like, I know people from the area and fans likes me but I can't help it have that side of me that reminds me that I started as an intern and now I'm only 21 and with an actual job, with an actual responsibility in there.

- You have this responsibility because you're capable of it, is as simple as that. Don't stress over it. - She told me and I nodded - Now, what's this thing that Mason told me, that you and Havertz are super close?

- Oh god... We are not close like that. I train him outside so he can get more adapted to the Premier League style and is not like he had a lot of friends in London other than the Chelsea boys, so we hangout together - I said shrugging at my friend seeing her look suggestively at me - Don't even look at me like that.

- Just because the game is starting again, do you want to do something after it?

- Kai is buying me Donuts, that was my condition to get out of bed - I smiled sheepishly at her

- He went to get you out of bed? - She asked and I rolled my eyes - You two are denying to yourselves what me and Mason already warned you guys about.

- Excuse me? - I asked and she smirked

- You guys clearly won't stay just friends, don't lose your time denying it, I won't believe you.

- But that's the truth! - I said annoyed paying attention at the game

- Why would you get 12? - I asked Kai seeing him enter his car with a box with 12 Donuts.

- 6 for you, 6 for me. - He said and I rolled my eyes

- You can't have six. - I said looking at him

- I promise to work out even harder for them - He said looking at me and I rolled my eyes

- You're not going to complain and you're working out extra days in the week.

- Deal - He said pulling out of the parking lot - Whose house? - He asked

- Mine - I said making myself comfortable on the car seat till we got to my house

- I still don't know why you leave in such a big house by yourself - He said to me

- I just always lived in big houses and when I got the money I wanted to get my dream house - I said and he smiled

- This is it?

- Well, for now yes. When I get marry and have kids I want my actual dream house, a little bit bigger, bigger backyard and a pool. - I said seeing him looking confused - My parent's house have one and is heated, so we can actually use it and is amazing. When I want one I just go there, wasn't worth it the extra pennies.

- Now I knew you liked home stuff, but not this much. - He said and smiled - You should do my decorations

- You offered, you can't pull back now. After Nations League we'll start. - I smiled - Now choose a damn movie already Havertz.
