I woke up shaking from a dream, the scientists had killed me, I didn't even notice, it wasn't painful, it was rather slow and peaceful.

My hand was still shaking as some strange people came in and put an extra mattress and some snacks in by a corner away from my bed.

Why? I asked myself. They quickly shoved the stuff in and left.

As it got colder in the small space, the light flickered and I stood against the wall furthest from the door, they brought in the same guy from yesterday, and I swear, I could feel my heart skip a beat.

They shoved him in and locked the door again, leaving him standing in front of the door awkwardly. I scooted over to the snacks, and looked at them, it was much higher quality than what I usually got, I took a candy that looked a lot like little rocks and put one in my mouth, my ears popped as I felt the candy dissolve above my tongue, I frowned. I heard a chuckle from behind me, "weird candies aren't they?" The weird guy asked me.

"Yeah," I said turning around. "Why are you here?"

"I'm not sure, all I know is that your 'quiet,' your a psychopath, and that I'm supposed to just sit here and observe what you do. The blue liquid is so that you don't hurt me, it makes your 'powers' weak."

I let that sink in, I'm still an experiment. There using me.

"Have you been outside?" I asked with curiosity, I looked straight into his eyes, regretting it right after. He made me feel weird. Like my heart was dropping.

He turned his head to the side, "outside?"

"Yeah, you know, where there's trees, and roads." He looked at me like I was crazy. Then his face twisted into confusion, "you've never been outside, have you?"

"No?" His eyes went dark, then he leaned against the door and looked down.

After a few minutes he startled me when his voice filled the room, "why don't you leave?" He said, "get out of here."

"I can't."

"Why?" I could hear the venom in his voice, "why don't you leave, can't you see? Their using you, Controlling you, making you believe your fine here. Humans are evil."

I was shocked, none of the other people who took my blood cared about me, none of the scientists had played me any attention.

"I don't know," I laughed. "I don't care."
