Suffice to say, Stacey didn't wake up for a week and a half. It was getting closer and closer to July, and the school would be out soon. However, for Addison, Clara and Raymond, Stacey's close calls were not something to celebrate. They were something, all right. Stacey's friends. A friend shares the journey and destination with you, however tumultuous it is. Raymond was like Romeo and Stacey was Juliet, the sun setting in the east.

Stacey was an angel, just about, her dreams fading, her heartbeat decreasing, her breathe continually going in and out, like a lantern in the midst of the night. She was also able to sing once upon a time ,and she was able to make others laugh as she was a bundle of joy.

Now, she lay there, with her brown hair spread apart, on the bed. She looked like she was finally resting, and in a good way, even with asthma.

"This was your favourite song...Stacey." Raymond whispered, playing Only Hope by Mandy Moore.

"Stacey, can you hear me?'' Raymond whispered again, holding her hands, clutching destiny and faith in his hands.

'It's your destiny to be with God, I know, however can you hold onto me just a little longer?'' Raymond said, holding her hand, as clammy and cold as they were.

"We were supposed to go to the dance together, get an apartment together..." Raymond explained. "Anyway, I've watched the version of Titanic that you gave me, and Jack made Rose a promise...''

"My promise to you is that you will be in my heart forever...no matter if your in heaven or on Earth with me." Raymond said, making his decision.  "I'll wait for you, my love." Raymond whispered again.

"If I can just wonder where your soul is right now and where your going in the future." Raymond stated. "If only you could see how I'm feeling right now..." Raymond stated, again.

"Stacey...I love you..." Raymond said to her, with strength and courage and love.

Stacey just lay there with more light shining down on her face through the window. It's just so hard, so difficult, Raymond thought, burying his face inside her cold, almost dead hands...

"Visiting hours..." The nurse started to say. "Are over..." He finished her sentence for her.

"Sorry,Raymond." The nurse handed him a Kleenex. "No, I'm fine." Raymond sighed ,walking out. "Thank you." Raymond turned to leave...
