Chapter 4 New age new friends

It has been a few years since Kion and Fuli first met. There friend ship had gotten stronger after the last few years. Fuli and Amani had not yet told kiara and Kion about there parents deaths. Fuli is still not sure if Lions are good she still feels unsure about lions. Fuli and Kion had also made new friends. There new friends are Beshte, Ono and bunga. She has also joined the lion guard as the fastest member. Simba and Nala also love Fuli and Amani they think about them as family. Amani has also made new friends named. Zuri and Tiffu they are also friends of Kiara as well. Kion his feelings for Fuli where also growing by the minute. But Fuli has not yet noticed.

With Bunga and Kion:

Bunga and Kion where playing baobab ball outside. "Haha catch Kion." Bunga said. "I'm bored let's go play tag." Kion said. "Okay let's go!!" Bunga said. "Tag your it!!" Bunga said running off." Oh your on I'm coming for you Bunga!!!" Kion said running after Bunga he was about to catch up to Bunga when suddenly Bunga hopped onto something or, someone. Bunga was now far ahead of Kion. But Kion kept on going. Bunga hopped onto someone he looked and saw it was just Fuli.

With Fuli and Amani:

It had been a few days ever since Fuli joined the guard and she was very proud to be in the guard and also the fastest in the pridelands. Amani did not want to be in the guard so Fuli took her place instead.Fuli and Amani had been racing until someone hopped onto Fuli. "Hey why are you on me Bunga!!!" Fuli said growling in annoyance. "Why don't you hop on Amani!!!" Fuli said yelling at Bunga. "Okay good idea!!!" Bunga said while hopping onto Amani. "Hey get off of me Bunga!!!" Amani said annoyed. Amani then threw Bunga off of her. Then Kion finally caught up to Bunga and he was exhausted. Bunga then ran off again. "Wait (Breathing hard) Bunga!!" Kion said out of breath. Kion waited for a moment to catch his breath he then ran off suddenly Fuli and Amani ran up to him not tired at all.
"Hi Kion!!!" Fuli said." Hello Kion." Amani said. " Hi Fuli hi Amani!!!" Kion said while running. "You okay kion." Fuli said while running. " Yeah how are you guys not tired." Kion said. "Where cheetahs Kion remember." Fuli said to Kion. "How I wish I was a cheetah then I would be able to catch up too Bunga." Kion said getting exhausted. "Want a ride Kion?" Fuli said. "You sure I know how you don't like being touched Fuli." Kion said to Fuli a little unsure. "Yeah I'm sure besides you look exhausted." Fuli said." Okay?" Kion and Fuli stopped running and kion leaned onto Fuli's back. Fuli then started running again.
" HAHA WHERE RUNNING SO FAST HAHA!!!" Kion said laughing he was so happy to experiece how a cheetah runs Kion also enjoyed laying on Fuli's soft fur. Kion then felt his heart beat faster Kion then nuzzled Fuli sort of like a nuzzle Amani noticed how Kion was enjoying laying down on Fuli's soft fur. She also noticed on how it seemed like Kion was nuzzling Fuli. "Having fun up there Kion!!!" Amani said to kion.
" Yeah this is so much fun!!!" Kion said. "Are you also having fun laying on Fuli's back too?" Amani said with a smirk. Kion blushed a little of her question. Amani noticed Kion's blush and smirked again. "Amani!!!" Fuli said annoyed. "What I'm just asking!!!" Amani said. Fuli rolled her eyes. "Hey I see Bunga!!" Fuli said spotting Bunga who was stopping to catch a break.
" Okay Kion this is your stop!!" Fuli said looking at Kion. " Okay!!" Kion said. Fuli then stopped running and Kion got off her back. " Kion!!" Fuli said whispering and screaming at the same time. "What is it Fuli?" Kion said to Fuli with a confused look. "Pounce on Bunga Kion"
Fuli said with a smirk. "Ohh good idea Fuli." Kion said while smirking. Then Fuli and Amani ran off.

With Kion and Bunga again:

Kion hid into the grass and stalked Bunga when Kion was close enough Kion pounced on Bunga. " Ahhh please don't eat me!! Don't eat me!!!" Bunga said screaming. "Eat you gross!!" Kion said looking at Bunga." Oh hey kion so...you aren't going to eat me?" Bunga said nervously. "Of course not!!!" Kion said while laughing. "Besides you are my friend Bunga" Kion said with a smile. Kion then got off of Bunga." So how did you get here so fast Kion I left you far behind?" Bunga s with a curious look.
"Oh..um well Fuli gave me a ride." Kion said to his friend with a smile.
"Uuuu..Lucky you. You got a ride from the fastest cheetah in the pridelands your self." Bunga said with a smirk.
"You have a crush on Fuli don't you." Bunga said giving Kion another smirk.
"W..What NO..I mean uhh. F..Fuli she just umm... a friend." Kion said while stuttering and with a blush. " Mhmm Fuli and Kion sitting on a hill K - I - S - S - I - N - G. Haha!!!" Bunga said laughing (Teasing kion). Kion then started blushing so hard at the thought of him and Fuli kissing. "Don't worry Kion I won't tell anyone my lips are sealed." Okay? Promise you won't tell anyone NOT even Fuli!!!" Kion said not sure if Bunga will keep his secret about Fuli. "Ohh yeah did you beg Fuli or, what how did you get her to carry you??" Bunga said. "Well she saw that I was tired from running so she told me if I wanted a ride??" Kion said still surprised that the fact that he got a ride from Fuli. "Hmm that is actually suspicious!?!?" Bunga said shocked. Kion was confused though. "What do you mean suspicious??" Kion said with a confused look. "Don't you get it why did Fuli let you get a ride!!! Because when ever I am tired and want a ride from Fuli she pushes me away because she doesn't like being touched!!!" Bunga said but Kion was still confused on what bunga was trying to say.
"So you no what this means Kion!!!" Bunga said excited and sure that his theory was right. "What??" Kion said confused. "It means...FULI PROBABLY LIKES YOU!!! Well maybe." Bunga said with a smirk thinking his guess is probably right. Kion was shocked about Bunga's theory but maybe he was right. Maybe Fuli did like him. Kion then started blushing about Fuli likening him. "Y..You re think so!!!" Kion said shockingly. "I know soo!!" Bunga said.
"But there's a problem." Kion said sadly with his ears down. " What?" Bunga said shrugging his shoulders. Kion looked at Bunga with a frown.
"A cheetah and a Lion can never be together... it's the rules of nature. I don't even think my dad will Let me be with her he probably wants me to be with a lioness. And besides I don't think Fuli's sister will be okay with it either." Kion said but little did they know a cheetah was listening to them from behind some rocks . "So as long as your heart truly loves her then maybe you should do it no matter what everyone says about you both. " Bunga said in a comforting voice and padding Kion's shoulder. Kion was shocked on how Bunga might be right. The cheetah then came out of the rocks. "Bunga is right... and I wouldn't mind you being with Fuli." Amani said coming out from her hiding place. "A..Amani what are you doing here???" Kion said surprised by Amani's appearance. "I was actually out hunting for tonight but then I heard you and Bunga taking." Amani said.
"Oh and what did you mean when you said that you wouldn't mind me being with F..Fuli." Kion said knowing the answer. "You know what I mean Kion."
Amani said with a smirk. " I don't know what you are talking about Amani??" Kion said with a blush on his cheeks.
"Kion you know what she's talking about. About how you loooove Fuli!!!" Bunga said. "Oh Kion I love you so much. Oh really Fuli I love you to *kissing sound *." Bunga said imitating Fuli and Kion. Amani then laughed at Bunga. "Haha!!" Amani laughed. Kion blushed even harder at Bunga's joke.
" Bunga!!!" Kion screamed at Bunga while blushing. "What. I'm not doing anything wrong here." Bunga said.
"Okay okay enough of that so kion do you love her??" Amani said looking at Kion. "Y..yes" Kion said with a blush and not looking at Amani. "......" Amani didn't answer instead she smiled.
"Aren't you going to laugh at me??" Kion said. "Why would I ???" Amani said looking at Kion. "Because aren't you going to laugh at me because I like a cheetah??" Kion said. "No like Bunga said as long as it's true love you two can be together." Amani said with a smile.
"Thank you Amani Asante." Kion said with a smile. "Anytime Kion." Amani said with a smile. "So are you going to tell Fuli Kion." Bunga said. "I don't know." Kion said. "Oh come on Kion Amani is going to let you date Fuli so what's the problem. Bunga said waiting for Kion's answer. "Well what if Fuli dosen't like me back. And what about my parents what will they think?" Kion said with a frown. "Well that is a problem Kion." Bunga said trying to find a way to solve the problem. " I can talk to Fuli about it maybe she will tell the same way??" Amani said. " Thanks Amani but what about my parents??" Kion said. "I don't know but I should go Fuli is probably waiting for me she is probably worried sick about me." Amani said. "Yeah you have been gone for a while maybe you should go now." Kion said. "I will leave now good luck Kion!!!" Amani said running off to find food. "Bye Amani!!!" Kion said. "Well how about we go it's getting late." Kion said." Okay and don't worry I won't tell anyone." Bunga said whispering. "Okay" Kion said. The friends said there goodbyes and went there own ways. I wonder if Fuli feels the same way I don't know but all I have to do is hope for the best. Kion said in his head and walked the way home.

With Amani and Fuli:

Amani was walking home with the gazelle she got. She was walking and saw Fuli waiting for her at the entrance. "There you are I was worried about you!!!" Fuli said worried and angry at the same time. "Sorry I was running and lost track of time sorry." Amani said lying about where she had been and putting down the gazelle.
"Well you must have been running for a long time." Fuli said. "Yeah I was." Amani said trying to hide the truth.
"Mhmm well I wonder why you aren't out breath you have been gone for a long time." Fuli said putting a serious look on. "Well I took a break." Amani said getting nervous. "Well okay but I think your hiding something Amani now tell me what you are hiding!!!" Fuli said walking close. "I'm not hiding anything Fuli I promise!!!" Amani said
"Mhmm well I am letting you slide this time but to you are hiding something Amani." Fuli said. "Let's just eat I'm hungry." Amani said starting to eat.
"Okay besides we should go to sleep." Fuli said and starting to eat. "You know you have grown up so much ever since you were a cub." Amani said while giggling at Fuli when she was a young cub. "Haha well you have grown up too Amani." Fuli said. " Well we both have " Amani said. They finished eating and went to sleep Amani snuggled up with Fuli because of the cold wind. "Good night Fuli." Amani said. "Good night Amani. After Fuli went to sleep Amani was looking at Fuli. Fuli when are you going to see that lions aren't bad. Amani said looking at Fuli then looked at the sky. Maybe I should tell Kion about our parents I don't think he knows about our parents yet....We have been hiding this secret for a long time ever since Fuli and Kion were Cubs. And besides Kion deserves to know. Amani then just decided to tell Kion the the next morning. Amani then went to sleep. Prepared to tell Kion the truth The next morning with Fuli by her side as well.
