Chapter 2 New Life In The Pridelands

It was the day after Fuli and Amani's parents had died the sun was rising in the distance the light of the sun was so bright, Fuli and Amani woke up and sighed, Fuli and Amani nuzzled there parents and stepped back

"What now?" Fuli asked with curiosity and sadness

"Well let nature do it's thing, but for now we have to find a home for us to stay at were we'll be safe." Amani said as she stared at her parents bodies and turned to face Fuli

"Let's go, it's not safe here anymore." Amani said sadly and softly as she gave her little sister a reassuring weak smile

Fuli nodded slowly, Amani and Fuli said there Goodbye's and nuzzled there parents one last time before they left, Amani and Fuli then began there journey they were now on there own now

Fuli and Amani had been walking for a few minutes still heartbroken about there parents deaths, there was a short silence feeling like it was like, and eternity until Fuli broke the silence

"I miss them..." Fuli said walking behind her elder sister with her head hung low in sadness Amani turned around and walked toward her sister and nuzzled her

"I miss them to, but let's be strong for them I don't think they want to see us crying about their death, besides at least you have me."

Amani said hiding her frown with a half smirk half smile she trying to be strong in front of her little sister but was struggling doing so

" Yeah". Fuli said in a calm but upset voice, Fuli suddenly remembered something

"Amani???" Fuli said. "Yes??" Amani said in a calm gentle voice

"Where are we going to go now??" Fuli said, Amani thought for a little on what her sister told her

"Well right now I don't know..." Amani replied with sadness in her voice

"Oh okay to bad we don't have a pride or, a collation then maybe we wouldn't be in this mess." Fuli said as she also tried to think of somewhere they can go

Amani was thinking of what Fuli had said but when she mentioned "Pride" It clicked her, she knew the perfect place were they can go she had heard her mom and dad talk about it one time, she had overheard it was not to far from were they lived, and that it was beautiful there

"The Pridelands!!!" Amani blurted out with excitement and a huge smile knowing it would be a perfect place for both of them

"Huh??"

Fuli could only say because she was confused what her sister was trying to say

"The pridelands, The Pridelands is a huge place were tons of animals live, and there's a watering hole to, the sunsets are also very beautiful sight to see to and there's this waterfall to and-"

"Okay, okay, okay, okay, okay this place sounds really nice. Now how do we get there!!" Fuli cut her sister off and said the last part in excitement as she hopped up and down like a bunny

Amani blushed in embarrassment know she probably said to much, and got carried away with all that but shaked the thought away, and answered her sister's question

"Oh it's probably like a few 20-30ish minutes away from here but, I'm sure we'll make it there in know time." Amani said with a bright smile

"Okay then, but umm how did you know the Pridelands were around here??" Fuli said with a confused look and tilting her head a little to the side, Amani sighed and looked at down at her paws

"I overheard m-mom and d-dad talk about it one time, That's how I know about the pridelands I overheard about it from mom and dad..."

Amani said with her head she was at the edge of breaking down into tears, but didn't dare let one of them fall out, until she heard a growl coming from Fuli and noticed that she had tears falling from her eyes out of anger and, sadness
