Benny was driving on highway 277 towards Stockholm, it was around ten in the morning and the sun was shining overhead so he was wearing sunglasses. Six months ago he started driving again, the doctor said that at this point it was already safe, although if he presented any discomfort he had to stop doing it. Colin was in the back seat of the car in his booster seat while he was looking out the window, from time to time Benny glanced at him through the rearview mirror. That morning the little boy woke up in a good mood when he saw that he had slept with his parents and Frida took care of filling him with pampering. Benny thought of her wife and smiled, she had to go to the gallery earlier, as much as Benny insisted on taking her she refused.
"Daddy," Colin said in his angelic voice without looking away from the window.
"Tell me, champ," Benny glanced quickly in the rearview mirror for a second then turned his attention back to the road.
"The sky is blue, like my sweater,"
"It's true," he said with a smile, today Colin wore a striped sweater, blue with beige, it was one of the gifts he received the day before.
Soon they arrived at the office, the place was small, they had the necessary staff to carry out the financial, marketing and advertising activities of their business. The receptionists cheerfully greeted Colin when they saw him and he greeted politely on instructions from his father. They both climbed the stairs to the second floor at the pace of the youngest and when they reached the top Laura was already waiting for them outside her office.
"Mormor!!" Colin yelled out exaltedly as he ran into his grandmother's arms.
"My love!" Laura knelt down to be at the level of her grandson and hug him properly. "Look how cute you look today! How are you dear?"
"I am fine," he replied, playing with her hair, he always did that with anyone.
Laura got up with him in her arms, "And how is my son the most handsome?" she asked walking over to Benny.
"Hi mother," Benny hugged and kissed her cheek, "I'm fine, thanks. As handsome as ever," he joked. "How are you?"
"Wonderfully, happy to have you here. Are you happy, pretty boy?" she said, stroking Colin's cheek and he just nodded tenderly. "Where is Anni-Frid?"
"She's at work,"
"Oh! That reminds me that I have to send her the final design proposal, I was going to do it last night but I was so tired that I completely forgot, "
"It's okay mother, don't worry."
"Let's go in and get started then." The three of them walked into the office and the older ones caught up with business and some other important matters like the remodeling. Laura was extremely proud of her son, he was exactly like his father, a man with vision and great expectations, but he was not a dreamer because he turned his dreams into goals and his goals into reality.
"Mother, I think we should build another hotel," Benny proposed.
"Do you think it is convenient?" she looked up from the document she was holding.
Benny leaned back in the chair and leaned his elbows on the armrest, clasping his hands as thinking. "Well, our last opening was three years ago in Helsingborg," he smiled as he remembered what had happened that night. "We have already recovered the investment and we have a good capital destined for construction, it's time to do another, the number fifteen."
Laura put the glasses on the table along with the document. "I don't know son, I recently had a meeting with the accountant and he recommends that we wait a bit before investing again,"
