Benny shifted a bit in his place and pulled the quilt a little closer to him still with eyes closed. He turned his body to the left and stretched out his arm with the intention of finding the beautiful woman who had slept with him. But he felt the bed empty.

Benny's eyes snapped open. Frida wasn't there. Her side of the bed was still warm, so he figured she'd be in the bathroom or something. He buried his face in the pillow she had used and his senses flooded with her fragrance. It still smelled of her. He couldn't  believe what had happened, he had made love with the woman he loved. And boy did he love her, she was his now and would fight for her more than ever. Frida had aroused feelings in him that no one had ever aroused before.

Benny leaned back on his elbows and called out to her.

"Frida?" He wait for your response, "Honey, are you there?" Nothing happened. Benny became concerned when he became aware of the silence that reigned in his house. He fully rejoined and reached for the first drawer of his bureau to take out a boxer, he was completely naked. He managed to sit in his wheelchair and dress in navy pajama bottoms and a white shirt, after that he left the room. There was no sign of Frida, she was gone.

Benny couldn't help but feel disappointed. Why should she leave before he woke up? Was she running away? Benny ran a hand through his hair in frustration, messing up more than it already was. They had spent an incredible night together and she had practically abandoned him at dawn. He laughed wryly, it seemed like a soap opera. Maybe he wasn't what she expected after all.

He didn't know whether to feel angry or sad. He expected more from her. Benny turned his wheelchair to head to his room when suddenly heard the door knob turn and it was opened seconds later. Benny turned once more as fast as he could and found Frida who seemed distracted.

As if sensing his gaze, Frida looked up and laid her eyes on Benny. A big smile formed on her face and her eyes sparkled, her cheeks were painted of a beautiful red color.

"Oh hello! You've woken up already," she said as she made her way to Benny and in the path left her cell phone and the keys to her house on a small table.

Benny was speechless. How was he supposed to react now?

"You are here," he said in an almost audible tone.

Frida looked a little strange. She reached his side and stroked his cheek, "Where else could I be?"

Benny pulled her to him, sitting her on his legs and taking her face in his hands. "You are here," he repeated as his lips curved into a relieved smile.

"I'm here, darling. I'm sorry I left, but I wanted to go for clothes, I didn't want to wear the same dress as yesterday and feel awkward so early," Frida ran her fingers through Benny's hair trying to fix it.

"You can always grab one of my shirts," he watched as Frida subtly bit her lower lip. It was adorable and sexy. Benny cursed himself internally for daring to think so badly of her.

"I'll keep it in mind next time," Frida pointed out.

Next time? Benny asked himself, did that mean she had liked the night before?. "I'm an idiot, you know? I thought you wouldn't want to see me anymore and that you would get away from me, I was really scared when I didn't find you by my side."

Frida's expression changed and concern appeared. "Oh, Benny no! I never would do that. Sorry, I never thought you would believe such a thing."

"It's not your fault honey, I'm the one who's damaged here, sorry,"

Frida cradled Benny's face in her hand, "I wouldn't abandon you, Benny."

Benny felt a knot in his stomach, begged heaven to be so. He knew that, technically, she was still Ragnar's girlfriend. "You promise it?"
