Frida was sat on the edge of the bed moving her feet nervously. Benny, for his part, was pacing the room, trying to kill time while the pregnancy test waiting for them inside the bathroom gave its result. "How long it takes?" he asked anxiously.

Frida sighed. "Five minutes." She checked her wrist watch. "It's been more than five by now."

Benny knelt in front of her, his eyes wide with excitement. "Good. I'll go in and check." Frida nodded, stunned. Benny placed a tender kiss on her forehead. "I know you are nervous, I am too."

"It's too much, I can barely breathe," she tried to chuckle but couldn't.

"It's okay, darling." He caressed her hands, couldn't believe what they were going through. "And if it's negative, that's fine too," he added even though he hoped with all his might that she was pregnant. Frida nodded and encouraged him to enter. On shaky legs, Benny entered the bathroom. The little object lay inside the box on the sink, he took the box and reread the instructions. Two lines, positive. One line, negative. Never in his life had he trembled so much, it took him a while to get the test out of the box, but when he finally did, everything changed.

With long steps he left the bathroom, Frida was already standing because her restlessness did not allow her to be still. As soon as he saw her his heart began to beat even faster, if that was possible. His eyes misted with tears. "Anni-Frid, love!" He practically launched himself at her, locking his arms around her in a tight embrace.

Frida didn't understand, did she? She was too stunned, felt like she would pass out. "What happened? What is it?" She felt him shake in her arms, he was crying.

Benny took her face in his hands; she was pale, looking at him with expectation and confusion. Benny loved her more. She is everything he wanted, her and their children. He caressed her face with his thumbs. "We are having a baby," he finally said with the most distorted smile on his face.

Air caught in her lungs as the words echoed in her head. "Sure?" Frida whispered.

Benny nodded fervently and showed her the pregnancy test. "Two lines. Positive. You are pregnant."

Her impending tears kept her from seeing the test, and she didn't need it because her husband's words were proof enough. It was she who this time threw herself into his arms. The embrace they shared connected beyond anything humanly possible. It was a pure, sincere embrace of authentic happiness and hope. A baby, a child. Theirs. Colin would no longer be the only one, he would have a little brother, the family would be bigger. This's  just fabulous. "Oh my God."

"I can not believe it." Benny laughed as he cried. "A baby."

"Our baby."

Benny kissed all over her face; her cheeks, nose, eyelids, forehead. He adored her. "I love you, I love you."

The happiness she felt was intoxicating. The first time she found out the pregnancy on her own, everything was very different and a total mess, now she had Benny and finding out together hit different. "Love you."

"How will we tell Colin?"

Frida laughed, that would be quite an experience. "I do not know. Do you think he'll understand?"

"Surely yes. I mean, the part of a new member in the family, he will understand the rest when he grows up. " She pushed him gently. "I can not believe it."

She hugged him tightly. This was a moment of total perfection. "I did not expect it, but I love this."

Benny even forgot about the discomfort in his hip, all his energy focused on the new news. "I love having babies with you."
