As soon as Benny left her house, Frida collapsed. She had to hold on tight to the kitchen counter because she felt her whole being would break. Tears began to rage down her cheeks and her entire body trembled. She had lost him and it hurt, too much. She dropped to the ground and leaned against the bar as crying bitterly. She knew that something like this would happen sooner or later but didn't imagine it'd hurt so much. Was there where she realized that she loved Benny more than she imagined, but now she had lost him.

A moan of pain came out from her mouth, Benny had hurt her with his words but she knew that she had hurt him with her actions. Her lack of character to deal with the situation had caused both of them to get hurt. Frida laid her head on her knees and hugged herself curled up. She wanted to repair what she had done but at the time she didn't know how...

Benny closed the door tightly, he felt angry at the world, all the happiness he thought he had had dissipated. Frida had become his everything, she had brought into his life the light that years ago had gone out and now she was the one who turned it off again. She had broken his heart in the most mean way, had played with his feelings. He would have given everything for her, she gave him the strength he needed day by day to continue living, she was his light in the midst of his darkness and his main motivation. But it had all been a lie.

Benny took the box of cookies he still had on his lap and threw it furiously, it fell within meters of him spilling the contents. His plans had been ruined. He just wanted a good night with his girl, despite knowing that something was wrong he never imagined that it would be so serious. He felt cheated.

Tears of anger and pain began to flow from his eyes, his chest burned and he felt that was short of breath, it wasn't the first time that he had that feeling, apparently he wasn't destined to be happy, the people he loved always left on his side.

He had already planned a life together with Frida but she would soon belong to someone else, he had completely lost her. He cursed the time he decided moving to that place, now there was only misfortune in his life again...

The next morning, Frida decided to go to work early, she had had a very hard night where her thoughts tortured her, and her best way to distract herself was always working. It was eleven in the morning, the security guard never came, so she deduced that Benny had already fired him.

The headache that day was too intense, she had to take double doses of paracetamol to ease the pain and after an hour it seemed to be working. Her hair was tied up in a braid and she didn't have a drop of makeup, she wasn't in the mood to get ready. She took pity on her clients because they would see how disheveled she looked that morning.

She was sitting behind her desk when the doorbell announced that someone had arrived, she looked up to meet her best friend.

"Helloooo," a very cheerful Sygni greeted. The blonde was wearing big glasses and was as shiny as ever.

"Hey," Frida said simply.

"Uh, looks like someone is not in the mood this morning," she commented as she approached Frida.

"Exactly, so behave please," Frida replied through clenched teeth.

"Woah! Darling what's up? looks like you just rose from the dead." Sygni said with a frown looking at Frida in detail.

"Oh shut up. I'm not kidding today." Frida said rolling her eyes.

"Okay, okay. I've brought coffee," Sygni hummed and held up a Starbucks bag.

"Thanks but my head hurts and that will only make it worse,"

"Uh... Okay, let's do something, I'm going to leave my things inside and when I get back you'll tell your best friend what's going on," Sygni said determinedly.
