Choosing life or death?

"Lady Dea asked to take Taehyung with you?" Yoongi's mother looked at Jeongguk.

"Yeah." Jeongguk nodded his head while looking at Taehyung's pale face.

"W-why?" Taehyung asked in a small and weak voice.

"Tae, please don't talk. You should rest well." Jimin said with a pleading look on his face and gently grabbed Taehyung's hand.

Two hours ago, Taehyung came back to consciousness. Jeongguk felt like he got back his life again. For fifteen minutes, he didnot inform anyone that Taehyung woke up. He just held Taehyung in his arms and cherished the precious moment.

Relief washed over the others when they got to know that Taehyung opened his eyes. Jasmine sobbed while hugging Taehyung and Jimin also cried in happiness. He almost squeezed Taehyung when hugged him.

"You just opened your eyes, not healed yet. The poison is still inside your body. Only Lady Dea can cure you...I hope." Jeongguk caressed the back of Taehyung's hand.

"Why...why couldn't I remember anything?" Taehyung whined in frustration and Jeongguk instantly sat beside him on the bed.

"Tae, please don't force yourself into anything. It's not good for your health, please." Jeongguk hugged Taehyung from the side and Taehyung looked at him with a pout.

"Let's meet her again, hm?" Jeongguk kissed Taehyung's forehead and Taehyung slowly nodded his head.

"Why are we choosing the same place to meet her?" Jin asked when they arrived at their previous picnic spot.

"She told me to meet here." Jeongguk answered while securely holding Taehyung in his arms.

"This place gives me anxiety now. Tae got injured here." Jimin looked at the thick woods behind the lake.

"You're right." Jasmine mumbled.

"She entered our pack just now." Yoongi suddenly spoke out.

"Her aura is so strong. It affected me." Yoongi furrowed his eyebrows.

"Because she's a great witch. One of them." Jeongguk looked at the woods and saw some movement.

After a few seconds, lady Dea appeared in front of them. She looked straight at Jeongguk and slightly bowed her head. Then her gaze fell on Taehyung and she approached him.

"I really hoped to meet you again but...not like this." She mumbled and stared at Taehyung with worry.

"He's weak now. The poison is still inside his body. Please, do something. Save him." Jeongguk said normally but he was helpless inside.

"I can understand your pain, my prince. I will do anything for him." Lady Dea smiled a little at Jeongguk and then looked back at Taehyung again.

"Show me your hand, Taehyung." Lady Dea said and Taehyung held out his right palm.

Lady Dea grabbed his hand and took out something from her waist belt. She touched his palm again and Taehyung hissed in pain. Jeongguk frowned and checked Taehyung's hand instantly. He saw a small cut on Taehyung's palm.

"I'm sorry." Lady Dea mumbled with an apologised look on her face.

"I need to test your blood. You would be freaked out if I would tell you that I was going to cut your skin." Lady Dea sheepishly smiled at Taehyung and he pouted.

"Weird habit of witches." Jasmine rolled her eyes and Lady Dea chuckled a little at her behaviour.

She then started to examine Taehyung's blood. When she held the small metal infront of her nose and smelt the blood, her breath stopped for a moment. She widened her eyes and her face paled. But, she instantly composed herself. Nobody noticed the sudden change but Jeongguk saw that.
