Illusion

Everyone was discussing in the meeting and Suddenly they felt an aura. They instantly stopped talking and looked towards the door. A few seconds later, Yibo came in.

He looked around the room, running his gaze over everyone. Jasmine's eyes lit up a little when his eyes met with her but he casted his gaze away. Then his eyes landed on Taehyung.

"Yibo, come here. Sit down." Taehyung smiled a little and Yibo walked towards him, then sat beside him like an obedient child.

Jasmine fidgeted her fingers and looked away. Jeongguk observed Yibo with a sharp look on his eyes. The others looked at Yibo with a questioning look on their faces and Taehyung noticed that.

"He is my brother. Yibo. He is the one who's spying on Saaghan I told you earlier." Taehyung said and everyone nodded their heads, understood.

"Shall we continue?" Yibo spoke out and the others agreed while nodding their heads.

Seungmin ran his gaze on the last line of the page and froze for a few seconds. He felt his face became hot all of a sudden. He felt goosebumps all over his body. His heart started hammering when he recalled a specific moment.

"Alph-...Seungmin." Suddenly a voice was heard a little far.

"Oh fuck." Seungmin cursed under his breath without lifting his gaze from his phone.

But, then he slowly lifted his gaze and saw the familiar nervous beta a little far from him. The said beta slowly approached Seungmin through the small path among the flowers in the garden. Seungmin stared at him with wide eyes, seeing a whole different scenario.

"Seung..min.." The beta nervously called out and Seungmin came back to his senses.

He looked at the male and saw him standing just in front of him. Seungmin breathed out and stood up from the ground, then turned around to walk away from there.

"Seungmin-ssi. Omega Kim ordered me to take you to the training ground and practise with the soldiers." Seungmin stopped after hearing the words and turned around.

"O-oh..haha..that's it? Okay then." Seungmin nervously laughed.

"What did you think then?" Seungmin gulped at the question.

"It's nothing, Beomgyu. Let's just go." Seungmin chuckled nervously.

"Ok. But...first tell me, why were you avoiding me for the last few days?" Beomgyu asked while fidgeting his fingers and Seungmin gulped again.

"When did I avoid you? It's just we didnot get the chance to talk these days, because of...all this..enemy..war-" Seungmin got cut in mid sentense.

"Since the day..we went to the bar for the last time...in the city..." Beomgyu nervously spoke out and Seungmin froze.

"Are you...nervous..about what happened?" Beomgyu nervously asked and Seungmin shook his head with a 'no'.

"Are you...feeling guilty...?" Beomgyu looked at Seungmin with an upset look on his face.

"No." Seungmin shook his head with a clear disagreement and Beomgyu felt relief.

There was silence for a few seconds. Seungmin looked everywhere thinking about a way of saving himself. He didnot want to be awkward around the beta anymore. Suddenly, he got an idea. A bad one actually.

"Did you take that seriously? It's nothing actually. It's very normal nowadays. People always do that whenever they get upset or lonely." Seungmin laughed and Beomgyu looked at him with a frown, clearly hurt.
