Sacrifice

"I knew it. He is not trustworthy. I didnot trust him from the beginning. I knew something is off." Jeongguk ran a frustrated hand through his hair and Taehyung was silent.

When Taehyung's assistant didnot return to the office in time, Taehyung became angry. He called a few times, but his assistant's number was unavailable. He started to feel uneasy, so he called Jasmine. When the girl didnot receive his call too, he became so worried and immediately went his home.

Although he found nothing out of order at his home, but he found Jasmine deep in sleep. After trying to wake her up for a couple of times, she finally woke up. But her demeanor totally changed. She hid her face in Taehyung's chest and started to sob.

When Jeongguk reached home after getting a call from Taehyung, he didnot expected her to cry like that. After some moments, her sobs stopped, and being emotional, she blurted out everything.

"So...he came here with purpose." Taehyung mumbled, couldn't despise his fake assistant for some unknown reason.

"I'm so confused why we are not getting his smell, why we didnot feel any aura whenever he was around us. He acted as an instructor, an assistant...and even as a good, trustworthy friend just to get the damn locket?" Jeongguk said the last part while looking at his sister and sighed heavily.

"Who is he actually? I never met such secret person like him in my whole life. He dared to play with my sister's feelings and emotions." Jeongguk moved his hands in the air in frustration.

"Gguk...relax. Ease your anger. Just comfort her for now." Taehyung grabbed Jeongguk's hand and then motioned towards Jasmine with his eyes.

Jeongguk sighed and nodded his head, then sat beside his sister. He pulled her towards himself and hid her in his chest while patting her head.

"Don't be sad. Don't worry. I will punish him for doing that to you. I will find and get him out of any hole and torture him to death." Jasmine's hold tightened around her brother and a small sob escaped her lips.

"Gguk." Taehyung furrowed his eyebrows at Jeongguk after hearing his words.

"Ok. I won't pu-" Jeongguk was about to say but Jasmine cut him midway.

"I..I will torture him...t-to death. You can't." She shook her head and Taehyung sighed a little.

"That's my girl." A small smile broke into Jeongguk's lips.

This time Taehyung sighed heavily while shaking his head and looked at the grinning alpha who stopped his smile after saw Taehyung's serious face.

Suddenly Jasmine pulled away from the hug and sprinted towards the bathroom. Jeongguk and Taehyung both looked at each other, confused. But when they heard gagging sound, they also went to the bathroom in hurry.

They saw Jasmine kneeling in front of the toilet and throwing up. Taehyung bent down a little and patted her back and caressed her head. After some seconds, she finally stopped and cleaned her face, then walked out of the bathroom.

"That...raw meat." Jasmine said with a tired voice and grimaced.

"This is crazy. The locket is something else. Made your mind evil and out of control." Taehyung said with a worried look on his face.

"Yeah...I still remember the night when she killed those rogues in Red Moon pack. She was totally out of her mind. Were you wearing that locket at that time too?" Jeongguk asked Jasmine and she nodded her head.

"I...ok. Where did you get that damn locket?" Jeongguk was frustrated.

"When we were coming back..after taking the Moonlight Blossom for hyungie, you disappeared on our way for some times. Remember?" Jasmine looked up at Jeongguk nervously and Jeongguk nodded his head.
