"Wow." Taehyung was in awe to see the portrait in the book.
"So, this is the portrait of the prince and the princess in their past lives, the children of the first alpha king?" Taehyung asked and Jin nodded his head while staring at the book.
"I still couldn't believe, they are living with us, in this era." Jimin mumbled while staring at the portrait and Taehyung gulped.
"This book is centuries old. There are many portrait of every werewolf king in this book. An ancient witch casted some spell on this book, so that it won't be ruined." Jin said and Taehyung nodded his head, understood as why the book still looked good.
"Jasmine's eyes looked different though. Was not she a beta in her past life?" Taehyung asked, confused.
"She was." Jin smiled at Taehyung and closed the book.
"I think you two are hungry. Let's go, I will make some snacks for you." Jin walked towards the entrance of the pack library.
Taehyung looked at Jimin and Jimin shrugged his shoulder. They followed Jin to the head alpha's house. After reached the house, Taehyung went to his room to take a call from his company and Jimin went to the bathroom. As Jin was cooking in the kitchen, he heard frantic footsteps and turned his head.
He saw a panting Jeongguk stormed into the kitchen and slumped down in the chair beside the kitchen counter. Jin became worried at Jeongguk's state. He was covered in sweat and panting, while rubbing his face aggressively with his palms.
After waking up in each other's arms, Jeongguk and Taehyung kissed each other with a 'good morning'. Taehyung was blushing, remembering their intimate moments last night. He whined, when Jeongguk teased him about his blushing face. They walked downstairs and ate breakfast with the others.
After that, Yoongi went to his office in the pack house and Jasmine went with him. Hoseok and Namjoon got ready to go to the west border of the pack. They had to check the border and the patrolling guards there. Everytime, Jeongguk came to the pack, he went to the other sides. It's been a few years, he didnot go to the west border. So, he decided to go with Namjoon and Hoseok as Taehyung told him earlier that he will go to the pack library with Jin and Jimin.
They shifted into their wolf form and dashed through the woods. After running for a few minutes, the finally arrived at the west border. There were a few guards, patrolling and a few others were doing their own works. There were a few houses for the guards to rest from time to time. The guards bowed their heads after they saw Jeongguk. Then the three entered separate houses to put some clothes on.
"Everything's good?" Jeongguk asked the guards.
"Yes alpha. But some rogues are passing by the other side of the border for a few days." A guard informed and Jeongguk nodded his head, while thinking.
