Wonder ~ Part 1

Taehyung's P.O.V -

Disbelief, shock and confusion filled my mind. But soon it turned into hurt, betrayal and anger. I stared into his teary eyes. He looked shocked and confused as well. I tried to digest what was happening, what was unfolding infront of me. But my sense was clouded with my emotions.

"T-Tae. You-" He started but I turned around while rubbing my tears away aggressively and walked out of the room.

I heard Jeongguk calling my name. When I reached the backside of the house, I felt Jeongguk's hand on my shoulder. I couldn't help but turned around in his arms and burst into tears. I opened all the pent up emotions of the last five years. I cried and cried, didnot know how long. Jeongguk was rubbing my back and head soothingly the whole time. I finally calmed down and now sniffling in his chest.

"Tae, are you ok baby?" I felt Jeongguk kissed my head.

"I'm ok...now." I sniffled.

"Tae...I know there's some deep connection between you and him, because of the situation right now. I think, he is feeling the same as you. You don't have to face him now, if you don't want. Just know that I'm always by your side. Want to go inside?" I was relaxed instantly at Jeongguk's soft and melodic voice.

"I'm ok. Let's go inside. I want my answers from him." I mumbled in Jeongguk's chest and sniffled again.

"Alright. Let's go, love." Jeongguk softly removed me from his embrace and caressed my tears stained cheeks.

"I'm not feeling good to see you crying. It hurts." He sighed and then kissed my forehead.

We walked inside and saw everyone sitting on the couches. Everyone looked at us and I saw Jimin lowering his head while the handsome guy from earlier, holding him in his arms. Jimin suddenly lifted his head and looked at me. I carefully looked at him from head to toe and then slowly approached him. I sat down beside him while keeping some distance in between us and Jeongguk sat beside me.

"T-Tae, Tae." Jimin cried out and I felt my eyes warm again.

"Are you really my Jiminie?" I asked him and swallowed a lump in my throat.

"Yes, yes." He frantically moved his head up and down.

"What is my name?" I asked.

"Taebear." He sniffled and I bit my lip.

"When the Taebear runs in the gym..." I mumbled while looking at him and his eyes lit up.

"His bell goes Chimchim." Jimin smiled with teary eyes and I felt tears ran down my cheeks again.

"I still couldn't believe that it's really you...infront of me." I sniffled and felt Jeongguk's hand gripped mine to comfort me.

"I know...I can understand. It's all my fault." Jimin sniffled too.

"Yes. It's your fault." I felt anger rose inside me.

"Now tell me everything. I want to know everything. Why did you leave that 'goodbye forever' note for me?" I glared at him.

I was devastated when I went to his house that morning, five years ago and found that note sticking up on the front door. It said that he had to leave urgently because he found a new job in a far city. He said 'goodbye forever my bestfriend'. And here he was, living in Jeongguk's pack, with no care as I was alive or not.

"I'm sorry Tae, I'm so sorry. I'll tell you everything." He cried out and I held back my anger and tears of sadness.

"Then tell me." I said and he sighed, then started to tell me.
