"Heejin."
Yuna spoke, shaking Heejin away from her slumber. It was only the beginning of dawn as Heejin groaned herself awake.
"What?~" The heir whined.
"Ruler Joonhyun wants to see you in the guest chambers'' The words that fell from Yuna's mouth echoed around Heejin and left a rather bitter taste in her mouth. What would her mother want with her so early in the morning? It was unlike her.
👑👑👑
"You called for me mother?" Heejin asked, looking at the radiant ruler as she sat cross legged at the end of the chamber tables. Her gaze was dark and piercing. Heejin had taken a big gulp before she had taken her seat.
"Heejin, do you have any wonder why I had called for you to come here?"
Heejin already knew the answer to that question, she just didn't want to answer it. It was about her performance in the competition and it was nothing surprising to see that Heejin was at the bottom of the rankings.
"Your performance in this competition has been....disappointing. As others seem to be pushing ahead, you're somehow falling behind despite being probably the best out of all of them."
"It's times like these I wish your brother could have switched places" Again, that pang of pain Heejin always felt in her chest when her mother made comments like that. She couldn't help but feel like she was a failure every time her mother compared her to her brother or...Jinsoul.
That was her problem. Jinsoul.
"And yet you can't say the same for Jinsoul?" Heejin questions, holding back her tears in order to look strong.
"No Heejin, I can't. Jinsoul is actually doing something out there, and you? You're doing nothing but making a fool of both me and the starlight tribe" Joonhyun scoffs, removing herself from her seat and heading away from the chambers.
"She's not even your daughter" Heejin mumbles and Joohyun stops in her tracks and turns to face Heejin.
"She's been more of a daughter to me, than you. And to think, that poor girl has to be distanced from this family all because of you and your selfishness"
"She's been more of a sister to you, than you have ever been to her" Joohyun finally leaves Heejin to herself and all the rabbit-like girl could do was scoff.
As long as Jinsoul was in her way, she would never get anywhere in this competition.

"Good Morning citizens of Nostalgia, welcome to the fifth challenge of this competition on this beautiful sunny day!" Mark announced towards the wide crowd that was set around the battlefield.
"Directory, that is the challenge today. Each and every heir will pick a strategy and battle their very own knights against each other to see who's strategy is better. This will continue till the last two are standing" Mark continues on as each and every heir stood on their own podiums with their army of knights right in front of them.
"Each heir already knows who they are battling against but to be more clear, Heejin and Jungeun, Haseul and Jiwoo, Sooyoung and Yeojin, Hyeju and Jinsoul and Hyunjin and Yerim"
Mark reveals the names as those said girls all stood aligned to one another. It was almost like a (Really confusing) staring contest. Nobody spoke, no one blinked, it was almost like they were all treating this like a real competition. Surprising.
Well...that was until it was time to assemble their knights. Strategy was key for this challenge and anything out of place and you would be done.
"Ok, the first four heirs to assemble are....Heejin and Jungeun and Yeojin and Sooyoung" Mark announces and all girls mentioned stand in front of their knights and begin to direct them on where to go.
