[MEMORY PT.3 8 YEARS AGO]
WORK TILL YOU'RE DEAD OR UNTIL WORK KILLS YOU FIRST - JINSOUL"Come on Jinsoul, when is your break?"
Jungeun whined to her friend Jinsoul, still working her shift at Mr. Kim's fishcakes.
It had been a bright summer day and as any teenage girl Jinsoul's age would be enjoying the sun with friends, family, and not having a care in the world, Jinsoul was stuck working till the sun came down every single day.
And not to say she wasn't being paid well but her hard work was always wasted whenever her father would get into one of his...moods.
"No...not today." Jinsoul sighed.
"But I have some people I want you to meet, my friends. They may be a little scary but they would love you! You gotta come, Jinsoul" Jungeun begged but Jinsoul disagreed even more. She had to work whether she liked it or not.
"Fine...we can hang out another day." Junegun smiled softly and left the front of the store. Jinsoul chose not to say anything because in her heart she knew she wanted to hang out with Jungeun, she just couldn't because of her controlling father.
And if she were to sneak out without Mr.Kim's permission, she would be fired. And who in their right mind would hire a 14 year old with no experience in anything?
Jinsoul watched as Jungeun hung out with her group of friends in front of her. The way they played, fought, laughed...Jinsoul wanted that too. She gazed for a while and found herself looking almost pathetic on how she just watched others play around while she worked in an old and dingy shop-
"You can go, Jinsoul "
A masculine voice echoed behind Jinsoul and the small girl quickly turned around. It was none other than her boss, Mr. Kim.
He stood tall, bulky, and hairy, just like he always was. But instead of his furrowed eyebrows of disappointment, he had a look of sympathy instead.
"But- my shift doesn't end for another 4 hours?" Jinsoul pointed out but all she got was scoff in return for the tall man.
"And you only have so much time to be a kid. Take the rest of the day off to play with those girls" Mr.Kim spoke.
"Will it affect my paycheck?" Jinsoul questioned, and as she got a 'no' as a response, she darted from the small shop in an instant, leaving Mr.Kim to laugh to himself as he watched.

"Junguen!" Jinsoul called out to the brunette who was hanging around a large group of girls. All girls unfamiliar to Jinsoul but it wasn't too hard to reconcile who they were once she got a closer look at what they looked like.
They were heirs.
Heirs to their thrones, therefore meaning, they were the daughters of those who rule over the kingdom. It wasn't hard to tell though, fancy clothes, healthy hair, lack of scratches or marks and lastly armour.
It wasn't hard to realize that Jinsoul was different from these girls, especially since they filled her criteria or what she likes to call them P.W.H.N.W.D.I.T.L.
People. Who. Have. Never. Worked. a Day. In. Their. Life's.
"JInsoul! Great, I knew you could make it, come on." Jungeun dragged Jinsoul towards the group of eight girls all sitting along a small river or lake filled with coins, shining past the surface. Jinsoul looked at the lake for a while, and smiled at the little fish she saw.
