{THE HIDDEN SECRETS} FRIENDS, ENEMIES, OR BOTH? - HYUNJIN

It was currently early in the morning. All rulers for each tribe had come to visit the forest tribe in discussion of the growth of crops in the kingdom and as the rulers would come, so would the heirs.

But today it had seemed like the starlight tribe had arrived early for their meeting. Now of course someone along the lines of ruler Joonhyun would be early for an occasion like this but it was the arrival of her new boyfriend that sparked eye's.

Hyunjin didn't exactly believe it. How on earth would ruler Joohyun, known for being one of the most pristine rulers of all time, end up with someone so....greasy.

The way his hair looked unwashed, the holes in his clothes, his yellow teeth. Hyunjin wasn't one to judge based on appearance but in this case, she couldn't help herself.

"Joohyun, so nice to see you. Please, let's get you, your servants, Jungkook and Heejin unpacked" Tzuyu bowed down to the five guest but just by the looks of things, she had said something wrong.

"Tzuyu, this isn't my servant. This is my partner" Joohyun said, wrapping her arms around the rather taller man. Hyunjin could see the disgust in Heejin's eyes but she was also surprised to see the shock in Jungeun's.

"Oh, my apologies. But we must get moving, those crops are in need of discussion" Tzuyu leads the way and just like that all five guest were gone but Jungeun's face was still mortified. Hyunjin had no clue what was happening.

"Jungeun are you okay? What's wrong with your face" Both Hyunjin and her sister Minju questioned as Jungeun seemed to snap out of her trance. Her breath was heavy and she had no clue what to say, but she had to spit it out somehow.

"G-guys, I think ruler Joohyun's boyfriend i-is Jinsoul's father..."

And just like that, this entire trip already was bound to burn to flames.

"I can't stand to look at that motherfucker's face any longer. He smells like alcohol, he spits on the ground like an animal and he's only with my mother for her money!" Heejin yelled in frustration.

Her and Hyunjin sat along the grass of the lakes and rivers around the tribes. It was a place where not many people went, and was thankfully secluded from any villagers.

Hyunjin paid attention to everything Heejin was saying but couldn't get past the fact that Heejin didn't know that her mothers boyfriend was Jinsoul's father.

"And I heard he has a daughter too, that peasant is probably just as dirty as him" Heejin grunts. "W-well at least you'll know that you're the prettiest in the family" Hyunjin says in return, of course she would never talk about Jinsoul like that but she wanted to seem as oblivious as possible.

"That's always been mom so I think it's a loss cause" Heejin sighs, throwing rocks into the river side. "Well I don't think it is, why deny you're beautiful? Everyone knows it's true" Hyunjin speaks again and Heejin pauses. A small blush crept on her cheeks as she threw a rock in Hyunjin's direction.

"You know, you really have to stop making me blush. Don't start something I know we both can't finish" Heejin smiles, continuing to throw rocks into the river. "Hey, I'm not complaining if you ever wanna take things further" Hyunjin says and Heejin couldn't help but fight her cringe.

"You're turning into Sooyoung, it's scaring me" Heejin laughs but it is shortly interrupted by the sight of her mother's servant, Yuna, also Heejin's servant in training.
