4 ~

✨ Blaise's POV ✨
everyone had finally settled down, the first years were sorted, y/n was sorted and the food was already out. i could tell harry was staring at her a bit but i tried not to think much of it.

she was super excited, she was talking to the people around her and was doing well at making friends - all except pansey.

✨ Draco's POV ✨
pansey's a little bitch anyways. merlin, she's SO annoying. she was already head over heels over me for some odd reason and now she seems jealous over all the attention blaise and i are giving y/n - especially blaise.

she was angry. like, she was staring at him and rolling her eyes at her. y/n was visibly getting uncomfortable about it too. she just wants friends, she's never had any because of how often she had to move because of her dad's work and now she's got many. she didn't want to displease anyone.

✨ Ron's POV ✨
hermione, harry and i were talking about y/n and how odd it was - surely such a nice and smart girl like her would be in gryfindor.

"don't you find it strange?" i asked.
"what?" hermione replied, "that she's in slytherin? yeah."
"she's pretty though." harry said, which instantly made hermione choke on her drink. i stared at her with a blank face. "he's not wrong y'know, i mean look at her." i told her. "of course she's not as pretty as you" i said as i saw hermione was stunned at our comments.  y/n everest was what people liked - long hair, glimmering eyes, a perfect personality, she had the whole package. she was unique.

"i wonder where she came from, i've never heard of the everest name" hermione stated. we were all so intrigued by her and how she managed to get in slytherin.

something had to be up.

✨ Y/N's POV ✨
so many people were being so nice to me except from one girl called pansey. i don't know why she didn't like me but she kept giving me dirty looks and rolled her eyes at me anytime i looked over.

i also saw ron, hermione and harry looking at me a bunch. they were talking about me, it was making me uncomfortable, i didn't know whether it was bad or good. i decided not to eat much either - i just can't when i'm nervous. it makes me want to throw up.

shortly after everyone finished up, we headed to the common room. of course draco and blaise led me there. our common room was down by the dungeons, it wasn't too long of a walk but it certainly wasn't short either. draco wasn't talking much, he seemed a bit concentrated on something but i wasn't sure what. he seemed fine though, and i brought my attention back to blaise who was very interested about my cat. he seemed to love her.

"draco has a hard time with cats," blaise giggled as draco looked over. "they normally dislike him"
"really?" i asked him, it was quite funny to me because draco seemed really kind to frost. "odd."
"yeah, one time ms norris chased him down the hallway. it was so funny to watch" he giggled as malfoy playfully punched him.
"alright, that's enough about me and cats" draco smirked slightly.

once we had finally arrived at the common room along with the other slytherins draco and blaise showed me up to the dorms and specifically my room. my dad was incredible enough to get me my own dorm by paying extra for one. frost had already made himself comfortable on the bed.

i gave blaise and draco a hug before i said goodbye as they left going to their shared dorm. i quickly took a shower, did my nightly routine then got in some cosy pjs and hopped in bed. i sung quietly to myself and frost to calm us down before drifting off to sleep.

✨ Draco's POV ✨
we were lucky that y/n's dorm wasn't that far away from ours, in fact it was the dorm next door. me and blaise walked into our dorm and got prepared but i noticed the huge smile on blaise's face.
"what's the big smile for, huh?" i asked him, knowing exactly what it was for.
"nothing" he replied back to me, trying to hide it.
"ooh, you like y/n!" i cracked up with laughter, but then he threw a pillow at me.
"don't tell her, we literally met today and i don't want to freak her out!" he warned me.
"why would i do that?" i said, "i know i'm a dick but you're my best friend. merlin, don't act like you don't trust me!" i joked around.
blaise got in the shower since i decided i'd just go in the morning. it was fairly quick to my suprise, he hopped out dressed then stopped suddenly.
"you alright?" i asked him.
"she's singing" he replied back. "i hear her singing"
"for real?" i said, standing where he was to hear y/n.
"i didn't think she would be able to sing like that.." he smiled, carrying on with getting ready for bed.
