Draco's POV
we had skipped lessons the entire day trying to find everest. we looked everywhere, and it's like she had just disappeared into thin air.

we were at dinner when dumbledore announced her disappearence - everyone was incredibly shocked and some people were on the verge of tears. y/n had been getting along with practically everyone except from pansy. she was friends with all and we were so shocked that she had gone missing.

blaise was trying to keep it together when everyone was talking about it. he was shaking, he barely ate anything at all. i normally wouldn't get upset but it practically killed me inside looking at him and not being able to tell him she was okay because we didn't even know.

we headed to our dorms and got ready for bed. blaise was sat on the edge of his bed hunched over.

"hey, we'll find her, i promise." i assured him even though i probably didn't help.
he looked up at me. "where would she even be? and why was frost petrified?"
"i- i don't know.. i'm sorry." i rubbed his back.

i went to my bed, laid down and attempted to sleep until my father's owl pecked his beak at our window. "the fuck?" i thought to myself when i opened the window and took a letter from it.

dear draco,
one your half-term break has arrived you must come straight home. we've got a visitor and you must attend.
your father.

"a visitor?" i said to myself. i looked over at blaise, he was fast asleep. i shrugged and got back to bed.
