Y/N's POV
professor severus snape had walked into the classroom, his cape flowing behind him as he walked through the middle of the class.
"page 78" he said sternly.
"veritaserum?" i asked blaise as i had turned the page. "what's that?"
"a truth potion. if you give it to someone they tell the truth about something." he replied.
i must've accidentally missed it out when homeschooling. the teacher scared me a little, he had reminded the class of his expectations and i knew i wouldn't get away with much when it came to him.

i'm screwed.

he walked up to me. "what's your name?" he asked slowly.
"y/n everest" i replied, trying not to seem worried.
"alright, everest, what's a veritaserum?" he asked me. he didn't stutter, but he took pauses in between words.
"a.. a truth serum." i stated, thanking blaise in my head.
"very good." he turned around and walked back to the front of the class.

the class suprisingly flew by, we learnt about the history of veritaserum, the ways it's used, plus a bunch more. then it was time for blaise and i's free period. we packed our stuff up then went to my dorm. we basically hung around in my bed talking whilst playing with frost, who was enjoying the company.

"what's that on your table?" blaise asked.

Blaise's POV
"those bottles, what are they?"
y/n giggled, "what, the makeup?"
"makeup?"
she nodded and gave out a quiet laugh as she stood up. "i use this for eyeliner, this on my lips, this on my cheeks.." she stated. she went on and on about what each product was and how to use it, but all i could focus on was her eyes - those icy blue eyes.

they were so.. pretty. i couldn't take my own eyes off them. i could get lost in them forever and would never complain.

"what's your favourite song?" she asked, drawing my attention back to her voice. she sat back on the bed and smiled as she carried frost like a baby.
"i'm not sure. i don't really listen to music, i never get the chance." i replied back to her, looking at her dimples.
"really? music's my favourite thing in the whole world" she said. "apart from the moon, of course."
"the moon?"
she nodded. "i don't know much about it, but something about stars and the moon just draws me in. i'm not good at astronomy though" she giggled.

it was like the hour flew by when draco knocked on y/n's door.
"jesus, i couldn't find you guys anywhere!" he laughed when i opened the door.

Draco's POV
they were both in y/n's dorm, probably taking care of the cat. obviously blaise had a lot of fun hanging out with her because he could not wipe the smile off his face.

"how was class?" y/n asked.
"it was decent enough," i replied back. "although we should probably get to the lunch hall before people start eating all the food" i laughed as they got up and followed me.
"what's for lunch?" she asked.
"probably something bad," blaise told her. "lunch isn't always that good here. breakfast and dinner are better"

we arrived at the great hall and took a seat, noticing harry, ron and hermione staring at us once again.
"why do they keep staring at us?" blaise asked.
"i don't know, should i ask?" y/n questioned, wanting to help find out the answer.
"rather not" i told her. they already hated me, i didn't want them accusing her of trouble for being friends with zabini and i. i was the main issue though, not blaise.

she nodded and ate a couple bites of her food. y/n was a picky eater unless it came to sugary stuff.

we talked throughout the hour, barely noticing parkinson staring at me the entire time. it was creepy but not unusual when it came to her.

lunch was over. blaise had to go to a different lesson so everest and i went to defence of the dark arts - a fun lesson, not gonna lie. she seemed excited about it, talking the whole way on different dark wizards she read about and all the dangerous spells she'd heard of. it was funny seeing how motivated she was to make an effort, no wonder blaise liked her.
